Having really thought about it. The 992 SC is basically a gts in a sexy suit + rwd only + 6sp. It is a huge price hike from a gts and whilst I love the ducktail and the stripes, doesn't warrant the price delta. Hell it costs more than a turbo S which seems nuts to me as it isnt as capable.

Unlike the SC, the ST will be a Motorsport (GT team) product. It wont have the track performance of some other GT products, but it will be a special (and expensive limited car) with high driver satisfaction. If it doesnt make sense to you, save yourself the money (and likely frustration of trying to order one if not a VIP) and skip it.

They are legit. Ive seen the car in real life. The suspension changes are impressive. Porsche is already working on the .2 suspension upgrade and I was told it would be as large of a leap as the 991.1 to .2, plus RS goodies. But also then told in the same breath, its not a track car, if you want a track car go buy an RS.
