.
7 speed, therefore even less special for some.

Where's this info from? Initially, it was stated that all the Heritage cars will NOT be from the GT department....

It will be in the same vein as the 911R which was a GT Motorsports product (but also a lifestyle/heritage model as well). Not sure what departments get credit or labeling rights…

There has to be some special sauce over 992 Touring. I mean has to be, right.

Ought to be the same gap as the original ST enjoyed to the other 911s.

it will be a touring version of the gt3rs with some added retro pieces. stick shift would make it worthwhile.

+15hp, widebody, fancy interior materials, special exterior graphics and colors, maybe suspension and a couple technical improvements. And of course the special numbered limited edition dashboard plaque. Same recipe as 911R.

The new 992 st will probably arrive in 2024. There are some pirate pictures around the Nürburgring but I don't know how true they are.

These serial homages to the past suggest that making history without intention seems far more preferable than intentionally reliving history.

They are legit. I’ve seen the car in real life. The suspension changes are impressive. Porsche is already working on the .2 suspension upgrade and I was told it would be as large of a leap as the 991.1 to .2, plus RS goodies. But also then told in the same breath, it’s not a track car, if you want a track car go buy an RS.
