I agree, Heritage is mostly make-up.
But this set me on the wrong track

Gotcha. I think the 50th Anniversary Carrera RS will be Heritage car for 1970’s…

50th Anniversary RS surely ought to be from the Motorsport division, not Exclusive.

I agree that it deserves to be (one of my favorites), but all rumors point to 50th Carrera RS being an Exclusive Manufaktur model closely related to the 992 GTS under the skin.

There could be some other Motorsports model that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the RS/RSR, but the ST is the only Motorsports special I’m aware of yet.

Hi Grant, all this coming from a seasoned cleaning lady? Not questioning, just wondering

No inside info at all - pure speculation (please don’t rely on this for anything other than entertainment purposes )

maybe they're going to make the VIP's sweat it out for a ST like the rest of us plebs for "normal" GT car allocations.

lolz. They’re pushing their IPO. Gonna need to juice those profits, and Porsche doesn’t get a direct slice of ADM. They sold more CGT and 918. This’ll be a special car but not THAT special.

True, but any juice they get from selling these "special" models don't even amount to a rounding error on PAG's accounting statements.

If they really wanted to juice their numbers pre-IPO, they'd stop production on all models except for the Macan and Taycan models. And just build baby build.

yeah that’s fair. It also points to their really not being able to replicate Ferrari’s business model. They need to make over 300,000 vehicles a year. I remain deeply skeptical they want Rolex style dealer bs games. Porsche makes the most money if they sell demand - 1 units and supply is nowhere close to that.

Porsche, despite being a luxury brand, is still a volume brand. Ferrari is clearly not, even with their upcoming Purosangue.

In the luxury goods market, Porsche is to LV what Ferrari is to Hermes.

7:00 mark. He mentions 100 units for US. Maybe he’s referring to a different special edition?

That's the regular 911 GTS Cab America edition. Nothing special about that car.
