This could be a touring RS / ST or perhaps an updated R - back seats, special body etc?

Can’t see putting back seats into a lightweight model meant to pay tribute to a racing car.

No back seats in 911R, were there?

Interesting how the car retains like "lower half" of the RS aero package (except double bubble roof). The front fender curtains behind wheels give it away.

I am really curious how are they going to set the car up. To position a car on a scale Touring --) GT3 --) ST --) GT3 RS is ending up in an extremely niche spot. But, of course, it is going to be predominantly a collectors car. However, Porsche still care about a reason for existence, a function.

The 911R doesn't have seats in the back!

How many iterations can the GT department create in one single mode line with ostensibly the same engine (just tuned slightly differently)?

GT3
Touring
ST
GT3RS

Anything else?

The Spyder RS is an abomination and an affront to the RS label.

Today the phrase "An RS is an RS" is dead.

What was the first Porsche to hold an RS badge? maybe you'll find the answer there.

And maybe a 50th Anniversary RSR? No idea if this is coming (haven't heard rumors). Maybe flip the engine and gearbox around for mid-engine like in the current RSR racer?
