I got into this GT/Specialty 911 game barely 3 years ago, but I am a quick study. Money talks (direct or indirect {trades}), everything else is BS. Heard it all, seen it all in this short time and have all the right cell numbers stored on my phone. It is as simple as that. Now let's get back to our regular programming and let's comment on if whatever P.AG decides to dish out formally as a Dot 2 will be worth to pay a premium for, with this kind of interior, no analog gauges and a stray away from the driver's cockpit, IMHO. And it doesn't seem like they are doing away with the Braun razor either. Urghh...

Anthony comes from the Covid salesman era where everyone threw money no questions asked and begged for cars, that time is long gone. Welcome back to reality,
I still remember mclaren dealers asking markups for Arturas, now? 5% discount without even asking. Blows my mind people paid over sticker for Huracans. From 2015-2020 you’d get 1-3% discount on ORDERED cars. The best though? R8 buyers paying markups for a car that has historically gone down in value by 25-30% after a year.
The car world is balancing finally.

@PorscheLover1963 can you PM me with your dealer info? I’m in the market for a GT3 RS. My local dealer is telling me I need to spec and buy a GT4 RS @ a $35k ADM then they might give me a GT3 RS next year. Ideally I’d like Euro Delivery which is why I was considering the GT4 RS

I don't like to generalize about car salespeople. My Porsche dealer GM and SAs have never shown arrogance towards me, nor I towards them. We've always dealt with each other fairly, respectfully, and honestly. That's how you have a win-win business relationship for 12 years.

The Covid salesman mentality is still running wild within Porsche dealerships. I had to go to a non-porsche dealership on my last GT3 purchase due to the incredibly horrible display of arrogance in many of the dealerships I dealt with throughout the US. My local Porsche dealer is amazing but didn’t and coudn’t source me another 992 GT3 with the options I wanted despite me having purchased several GT cars from them before, so I started going to other dealers and experienced the “you need us more than we need you” attitude.
When I got my car, a few of them gradually reached back out to me and I politely told them to F off and pointed out that thanks to their attitude and unwillingness to even respond to a call or text they lost my business; forever.
Things are changing and the car world/sales aspect of it is balancing back out as 738xxxx mentioned.

If they charge ADM, they're generally selling to the highest bidder and not caring much about long-term business relationships. Anybody can have pretty much whatever car they want from them, but they have to pay up. If you're not willing to pay, no car for you.
If they don't charge ADM, it's all about long-term business relationships. The highest-volume customers get most of the cars they want, but not necessarily all the car they want. If you don't have buy/sell history with the dealer which has made them significant money, no car for you.

those days are coming back my friend. Patience is all you need. EV market is in complete free fall, all those hot ICE pickup trucks are selling below MSRP, it’s just a question of timeline.
Lambo says their order book is full through 2026…that’s just a deposit, let’s see how many follow through when they realize they can’t be flipped the next day for 50k profit. Same with high end watches - see Watches of Switzerland latest earnings.
We’re not at 2019 levels yet, but getting there.

I have decided to not support rennlist via official sponsor and vendor, and will decide to not pay the platform $400 a month just to have posts removed and moderators using tactics that block my offerings.
I don’t believe this is the place to conduct business and sell actual new 911 models. It seems this community has perfected acquiring new models and are fully connected
anyway, it’s been fun for the two weeks and I’ve decided it’s time to be apart of a bigger, better, and authentic community.

im assuming the question didn't intend to be condescending but it can read that way. text has that funny way...
suggest no longer replying to the community when criticism comes and maybe pull back on flooding the pages with allocations. avail allocations have been posted and interested parties can dm. if the community bashes, they bash - let it slide - be humble. those that are interested are paying attention and will reach out. trying to convince some folks here on the value a brokerage isn't a good look imo when opinions are set in stone.
i'd pickup an s/t allocation but the extra fees are just too much ... on principal. i don't want it that bad yet let's see if that changes. seems at least one person on here was able to get an s/t allocation through the broker. congrats to them for securing a car that just seems out of reach from an allocation perspective.

appreciate that.
I’ll be off rennlist for good as per personal decision. One less website to check and pay unnecessary Ad money to.
Just wanted to try it out……
