I'm smart enough not to be married, I've had enough friends who've gone through the divorce nightmare....NO THANKS. I've been lucky that I've had gfs who aren't high maintenance like that. I spoil myself first because I have a Porsche addiction to feed (I blame Mooty for it).
Been with my wife for 31 years, so I guess I'm not a player. I had heard of Hermes and guessed it was a brand of some sort of luxury good. I had heard the term Birkin, but had no idea what it was. I asked my wife, and she knows about these handbags, says they're very expensive and hard to get. But she has zero interest in buying one, says it's just a flex. OTOH, she and I both agree that Porsches are worth the money.

Unsolicited advice:
Find the right woman and you won't get divorced, and will instead have a life partner. Make a commitment and don't rotate through women like cars. And you can have both: I have a lot of cars because of my wife (she likes cars and is a PCA DE instructor).

Easier said than found. All of my friends except for one has been divorced, some twice, and even my parents are divorced. Most all of the girls that I've dated are not into cars at all.

I admit that I got lucky. But the divorce rate for first marriages is about 40-50%, which means that there are a lot of happily married couples.
