they will say , we believe that 50 K is still the going rate and we talked to other dealers and they are demanding more ,
what will he say: according to RL ADM should be 25 k
I personally hate uncertainty, I would rather agree to a number and commit to it

that is exactly my point

Yup, that's pretty much correct. If I don't agree with their assessment of ADM at the time I can walk and they will just put it on the floor to sell to the next guy.

I got an allocation for a buildable winged car. My dealer says they are a "market price" dealer, which today is $50k ADM. But if market drops between now and the delivery date the ADM would adjust accordingly. If at the end of the day the car comes in and the ADM is over what I'm willing to pay they are happy to cancel my order and put it on the showroom floor for sale. Sound reasonable?

here's a nice money green touring for less of an ADM than what you typically find on BAT.

Most dealers do.

They may say "well you got to order this one custom", then say its market rate. Give me it or I walk and then just go get the other one if they won't do it or if the delta is not worth it to you.

It's funny to see people repeatedly post on this thread about being "patient" and how ADM's will come down, yet brag about ordering 3 or 4 cars this year at MSRP and dont think they are part of the ADM "issue". As though their purchases have nothing to do with the ADM's being charged on others out of the same dealership.
Talk about being "tone-deaf".

I have heard anywhere between $75K-$100K, but based on the convos there sounded like room on this. I was offered $100K over the weekend in SoCal, but its not a dealer I was planning to go with. From your info, and mine, along with a few others we can confirm that allocations are not done, which it is super annoying there are people in this thread intentionally spreading false information just to prop up the value of their car they already own, instead of providing accurate info for people looking, this is the exact type of thing i meant when saying this forum was different from others. I'd be happy to message a few guys in the area i have been in contact with and provide info if it is below the $75K you were quoted, as that is not a price I am willing to pay myself.
Ten days ago, I essentially posted that there were no more allocation slots available and only V200 status would be honored. The Regional Mgr in my area was telling his dealers to erase any V70 request. And yet a poster named "WCGhost" jumped all over me and accused me of intentionally lying as can be seen by his absurd post above with erroneous claims.
Perhaps he should re-read the above post by Aviaros21 from today for a reality check.
Like I said in my post from 11/19 . . . "See you in the Fall of 2024" for 992.2 allocation slots.
Some people can handle the truth. Others clearly cannot.

Stopped by my Porsche dealer today and talked with GM and SA. They said prices on the used cars are trending down, and they're being very cautious about buying higher-end used cars (they've taken pretty big losses on some of them).

You guys have wayyy too much time - idle hands and all that.
I follow BAT cause I think it’s fun
991.2 are now $10-20K over MSRP dep on miles and build. One sold at MSRP.
991.2 Gt3RSs appear to be in similar range, but again some have miles, most RNM. Many are now hitting market as people trade up.
992.1 Wingers - selling around $60-75K (one nice build $86K over)
992.1 Tourings - $75 - $100K over for moderate build cars ($110 over for Albert car)
Draw your own conclusions. Mine: There is a curve here but until 992.2 starts rolling in earnest don’t expect much change in 992.1 cars. Special build always command more.
The sky isn’t falling. It’s also winter in a lot of places and people are maybe less focused on their obsessive selfish car habits and maybe buying gifts for others :-)
Go drive something fun for Godsake. Take meds, get help, meditate. Get out more. Pray for relief. Geez this is like Twitter now.

Just call around to like 20 places a few days before the car comes in and ask them what the best they can do is. Find 2 or 3 that got some on the ground or gave you best price, haggle with them. Cram them down to say 10k over, then ship the offer to the dealer you ordered from. I'd be shocked if sticker doesn't happen by April 1, with how fast things are degrading. Can't imagine the amount of cheap@sses that are going to sell 991/992 gt cars once the whole "prices don't go down" thing disappears.
They may say "well you got to order this one custom", then say its market rate. Give me it or I walk and then just go get the other one if they won't do it or if the delta is not worth it to you.
