GT3 992.1 production concludes?
I have been away for 3 weeks off the grid and I picked up my GT3 which was in for service.
The sales rep advised me that the 992.1 GT3 is no longer being produced. He didn't have a timetable for the .2 but felt it will be over a year. Has anyone else heard this. ( this might be old news and discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find it)

Traditionally Porsche rarely overlap gt3 with gt3rs production unless major events like engine fire on .1 991 gt3 , they built few 2016 with the RS
with the .2 you see both 2019 gt3 and gt3rs . But if I recall well , gt3 production was mostly toward the end of 2018 as 2019 model year and the rs production was mostly during 2019 .
so I expect them to build gt3 till the end of this year
allocations already sold as they were given earlier this summer .
may be few next year
but again we had a major event with Covid so who knows

US-spec 992.2 GT3’s should begin production Fall 2024 as MY2025, afaik.

2 years after Carrera in .1 of a generation, but only 1 year after in .2 of a generation (years 3 & 4 for .1 and years 6 & 7 for .2). Carrera .1 is years 1-4 and Carrera .2 is 5-7. New generation every 7 years. I think we are 1 year from 992.2 Carrera and 2 years from 992.2 GT3, for US deliveries (announcements sooner).

So how long will they have produced the 992.1 GT3? And how many produced compared to the 991.2 GT3?

Someone on another thread mentioned that there was supposed to be one more round of allocations by late October and that was to be the last of them for the 992.1, but no idea how accurate that was/still is.

Mine is under production “October” and my friend scheduled on November both as MY23 so the production is still going on. But might be the allocations are done and no more allocations to be given for the 992.1 GT3 as the dealership here told me that they’re returning the deposits back to the customers.
Mine is Oct. 14th.

I think allocations are over except maybe a very very few in Nov. 992.1 GT3 will have possibly the fewest cars in how many generations? Probably less Touring 992's than 991Touring in the end.
