You have to check this out. Many high end cars are LHD even in the UK. 330k USD to buy it, then another 100k to federalize/import/etc. Might as well wait for the price to drop?

Or buy a cottage in the middle of nowhere for 100k and stash it there. You can visit it a few times a year for a great time. Win-win

Lol. There should be a huge garage for RL guys to store their cheap cars in the UK and we wait 20 more years to have it qualified for 25 year import rule.

The fact that allocations are already out with build dates so far in the future makes me think there will be little to no future allocations with builds in MY23.

But I know your doom and gloom agenda. The world is ending, GT3s will be 30k under sticker tomorrow, blah blah blah.

People shouldn’t be so hung up about allocations. There will be plenty of lightly used GT3s available next year and prices are trending down. It’s a matter of patience. Dealers who overpaid for used cars will be under increasing pressure to move them before they go in the red.

How does that saying go?

The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent?

I think I am only solvent because the market is irrational.

What is with Rusmani/El Diablo/Shrimp agenda to try and push these as super limited? I bought the last gt3rs....I wasn't going to pay 100k over and that car wasn't rare, the new one won't be either...

These are the objective numbers for 991 below. Do you think they are going to make less or more for 992? I mean everything I say is as objective as possible. I got offered a 991.2 gt3 at 30k under sticker brand new, it is not far fetched to happen again. You just don't want to believe it. Sticker will happen fast on 992.1 gt3, I am sorry to tell you that. If it is a pill you can't swallow, then sell yours and stop coming here everyday as an already owner to try and prop prices up, it is so facepalm. Who does that? lol

WW/NA
2019 Speedster - 1,948 / 715
18/19 GT2RS - 3,750 / 1,300
2019 GT3RS - 4,750 / 1,755
18/19 GT3 - 9,520 / 3,250
2016 911R - 991 / 325
2016 GT3RS - 4,521 / 1,530
14-16 GT3 - 6,520 / 2,200

991 GT series = ~11,075 for N.A.

992 GT= EVEN MORE!!!

I currently have a GT4 and no GT3. I would love to get a GT3, so I have no interest in propping prices up whatsoever. I'm just a realistic consumer. Comparing anything to precovid times is absolutely pointless. Hell, my sister is shopping for a minivan and every Toyota dealer told her at least 3-5k markup for a Sienna. Continued mark up on a mass produced, run of the mill minivans.

I've also educated myself on the market and the demand for GT3s. Dealer lists are either massive or closed. People are still out there clawing for allocations and paying hefty markups for GT3/GT3RS/etc. I'd love to see prices come down and I do think they will to an extent, but it's not going to be 30k under MSRP like you keep preaching. If it does, I'll be happy to eat crow and I'll be the first in line to buy.

I think that a lot of the demand is due to perception of scarcity, and RL does a lot to foster that perception, boost demand, and boost prices.

If some people on RL were to be believed, everyone on RL is so rich that $100k ADM is nothing to them, and if you hesitate to pay that much you’re overthinking and/or poor. And yet somehow there are many lightly used GT cars priced tens of thousands over MSRP which somehow aren’t selling at those prices.
