I agree, but the "probably" part is difficult for my OCD to overcome, and if it didn't come out right, it would always bug me.

Mine are always folded down.
I do not, but I'm very OCD and would not be able to leave it alone. I would use it enough that I wouldn't be able to always leave it in shelf mode.

Very interesting specs on this one and possibly a good deal for someone looking for one with PCCBs.

That wing is part of the sports design package with the aero cup kit.

How much do dealers usually make on a 991.1?
This one was on autotrader a month ago for 60k: ebay link
I'm pretty sure the dealer negotiated that and trying to sell it with a 20% profit. Is that what they usually do?

(No, I most certainly haven't been looking at way too many ads when I can recognize one from a month ago )

Edit: Sorry for the off topic, this is definitely not a hot deal.

This S with 7MT looks like a nice deal with the low mileage:

If that has a clean history, it's the first decent priced 991.1 S MT in a while. Great color combo too.

Can we all have a level setting heart to heart for a minute? I'm VERY CONFUSED when I see posts like this, of which there are plenty. What makes this car anywhere near a decent price? When I enter it into KBB with options selected, I get a range of $50,800-$57,600 with an average value of $54,200. I totally understand there is a shortage of used cars, manuals, a pandemic on, the stop sale, and that its a sellers market, but this, imo is still a terrible deal. At 13 THOUSAND DOLLARS over a trade in price (which should always be your stretch goal when buying a car), this is a very poor deal. A great price on this car would be more like $51-52k. Fair $55k, and high, $56-57k. $67,550 is well, taking the ****, and abusive to ignorant car buyers.

What are you guys smoking?! I want some, because although I CAN afford it, I cant rationalize spending >$10K over a fair price when I know that in 3-4 years when I go to trade it in, I'm going to get hammered in a settled market. If you're rich, don't care, and have a ton of covid cash lying around, that's totally cool - we need you guys to take that initial hit so we plebs can actually afford a 911, but the whole point of this thread is to find good deals, but I'm not seeing it!!

What am I smoking? Reality?
You can put whatever you want into KBB, it's not reflective of current values. In the context of the here and now, this is a good deal.

Also if you think 991.1 S's, specifically MT's are gonna get hammered in 3-4 years, you're wrong.

Last edit: some of us like to drive. You can sit around and wait for that unicorn for 3-5 years. Others will buy the car now at an "Inflated" price and get enjoyment out of it. What's the point of a 911 anyway?

Agree with mic_crispy. KBB is a good starting point but the market is the ultimate authority. I have a 2018 Macan Turbo PP, and there it is the exact opposite. KBB shows a sky-high value, and the actual value for trade-in or private party is much lower.

Your resource is flawed. The reality is what the market is showing. There are no cars for sale in the $50m range, especially with this spec and mileage. KBB has been flawed for years on 911s and even dealers won’t use KBB values for trade in or purchase. Also, if KBB is pulling info from dealer auctions, that pool is very small still for 991 body style and likely represents the worst of the worst. Additionally, they have a separate subscription based resource for dealers only that can take in info from real inter-dealer transactions. However, again only the worst 991s are going anywhere for wholesale pricing.

I would buy that Scottsdale car today if I were looking.

For what it's worth, I will be selling my 2013 911S manual when the 911 50th Anniversary will be released by the dealer (currently impacted by stop sale). It is a high spec at 118.5k MSRP with all the goodies.
