HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
This is hilarious, thanks for the info. These adds make me angry tbh. I reported it at eBay, but I couldn't include the bidfax link. If any of you know how to report it properly, please let me know.
Next time I should put the VIN into google first, not into vincheck and vinanalytics.

I am noticing some dealers use the same Porsche website template that do not indicate the trim level. For example they will list the vehicles such as Carrera and not indicate if it is an "S", etc.... even when you click on the picture one will need to dig deep into the description to figure out which Trim package. It is VERY annoying. Porsche Conshohocken is one that I know does this on some of their inventory. It is inconsistent and very frustrating.

Yes, that's true, but it also says no damage. I think the whole ebay ad is flawed for some reason. I found other ads of the car which were honest.

The big thing I've noticed lately is dealers listing their S's as GTS's. Suppose they're just trying to get more traffic since GTS's seem super hot lately. Like they don't know the difference between an S & GTS..
Burning Brakes
My favorite is when they write it's a manual transmission when it's a PDK and vice versa. Sometimes it's not even stated which one it is, and I need to check every new ad. The worst when there is no picture of the steering wheel because then I really need to check vinanalytics. You'd think that people would put the effort into selling a car for 50-60-70k. Apparently they don't. (This is why BaT and carsandbids can make (good amounts of) money I think.)
To your point, I just can understand why people don't take the time to get it right. I've even seen this with Porsche dealers!
The first thing I did when I was looking for my manual 991 I checked the photos of the interior to ensure it was actually manual and not a PDK. There are a ton of ads out there that list the car as manual only to find that it's a PDK.

2014 911 turbo S for $77,900. Has to be a scam or salvage title. Anyone willing to investigate???

My detective skills kicked in: https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AD2A95ES166432/
The VIN was on the window sticker actually.
Here is a not too old classified on it here:

I'd be very surprised if the craigslist ad was legit.

Thanks
By the way, given today's 991 market situation, what would be the right price (not kbb recommended) for the following car(s)?
991.1 C2 or C2S MT with at most 50k miles, clean title, no accidents and low, but not zero specs: Bose and 14 or 18way seats.
(I read controversial opinions about the adaptive mirrors, I loved it in my former car, but nobody was using high beams during daytime as they do in NJ ).
I don't really care for the higher priced options like (S)PASM, PDCC, SC or PSE.
I've been looking at the ads for quite a while, but I don't think there was a good (or even an OK) one in the last 2-3 months.
