A lot of Porsche buyers will seemingly pay a fairly substantial premium for low mileage cars. I’ve seen asking prices 20% over market for cars that have <1k miles/year, but I guess someone is buying those cars.

Asking isn't same as selling.

Just my reaction to the PCA ad: It signals that the seller is really not interested in selling. It is asking a price that is beyond the market price in the hope that someone really wants it. While time is usually money, it is not for such a seller. When I was shopping, I usually bypassed ads that we all know are not realistic. That was four years ago. Who knows how the market has evolved since then.

What are everyone’s thoughts on how much not having the OEM wheels should impact price? If a car otherwise checks out and would fit for $80k, having aftermarket wheels does what do that $80k?

Could go up or down depending on the wheels...

As tight as the market is for good cars, i'd never let wheels even enter into the discussion. It's one of the variables that is easiest to work around, and you can always sell the existing ones for something which means there is some offset.

Does Hawaii count as west coast?

Actually i don't think it's prohibitively expensive to ship a car from Hawaii to Cali. I have a friend who has done it several times with the Navy.

WARNING!

Stay far far away from this car this guy is a loser

Ad says that the car has a clean carfax, he then shows a bad VIN on the ad. He even shows a carfax with the VIN scratched out and it shows as being clean.

I was able to get the guy to share his VIN with me and I ran the carfax, it was in a major accident! The carfax he shows on the ad is old and doesn't show the accident. People like this make me sick......
