oh interesting. Didn’t realize there was a limit. Thanks!

I think it’s priced very high in the current market with that mileage. These cars also tend to drop off a lot after 50k miles.
isn’t everything?
I’ve seen 991.2 Ts trade private party recently for 80-85% of MSRP with high mileage or 90-100% of MSRP with low mileage. CPO dealer cars 100-110%. This one is 97%, but the mileage is real high. Feels like it should be 90% ($115K or less).
With limited new car inventory the used ones are still going to command steep prices, especially through the dealerships. Clearly they have facilities and staff to maintain and this is the way they are going to do it. The milage will open the door for a bit of negotiation. The alternative though is to scour the market and find that 1 vehicle being sold by a private owner or on one of the more obscure auction sites. Even once found there are risks in completing the transaction. While I have worked with many reputable private sellers the term buyer beware exists for a reason. The magnitude of the risk is likely a bit diminished when working through a dealer unless you already know the car or get feedback on the seller through an org such as PCA
To me the risk increases exponentially working with a dealer due to the high percentage of dealers who are crooks. By percentage if the general population had as many criminals the prisons would be overflowing.

Not only limited new car inventory, but if you are looking for a 3 pedal car diminishing production period. I don't see manual transmission cars every falling. Just not enough coming into the pipeline anymore.
GREAT price ($118k) for a 911.2 gts coupe in a beautiful color (sapphire blue metallic) and great spec... that also comes with a mod soul exhaust (and includes the stock exhaust, per dealer) and has front/rear quarter panel ppf. Assuming the carfax is clean (dealer says it's clean, but please confirm), I would 100% be seriously considering this if I was ready to pull the trigger.
Yeah, I've had seat time in a 996 4S, a 997 T4S, and a 997 GT3RS (on a private day at Nelson Ledges no less)... I just like new tech which is why I was looking at 991s.
I guess a 997's radio can probably swapped for something aftermarket to add better tech, though...
997.1 can be fitted with the just released Porsche classic PCM which adds CarPlay. 997.2 (which I own) can be fitted with an aftermarket board which confers CarPlay and suchlike. 997 and 991 are very different cars to drive so if you're sure you want 991, then go for it. Just wait till you find what you're looking for - prices are cooling. And as others have said, higher mileage isn't much of an issue.

If this is a bona fide clean car, color me impressed. Prices are on their way down. Without a Carfax, I'm skeptical. That's 20K lower than most other places are selling GTSs for. And you don't see too many sapphire blue ones!
