I agree the cars can run for 100k miles without issue, but mileage does effect valuation.
On the wholesale market, this one takes a big hit.

I agree, I'm looking for a 991.1 7MT C2S as well... Not in a rush, but my hope was to find a decent example for under 70k... Maybe this winter/spring things might look better?

I wonder what wholesale is for these... Seems like prices are still very high

i found 2 one at CarMax and one at a Porsche dealership both were around $65-67k both got picked up in 2 days of listing. I am
not in a hurry either but regret just not buying at the beginning of the year when there was a lot to choose from.

Not sure how hot this is as it's been sitting there a while. Which makes me wonder as the price is lower on a 2015 than most of the 2014s I see. Also the color combination with the deviating dash is desirable, at least to me. Carfax is clean but I wonder if there's something else about this car I'm missing that's not right.

I've seen this one listed for several months at this point, at first glance it looks good and carfax appears clean. But it was auctioned off and seems to be passed around dealers since December of last year. Not sure what the deal is, but I feel like there's gotta be a story to this. let us know what you find out

My thought as well. I'm keeping an eye on it - not ready to move until beginning of the year so this is primarily curiosity. Before the pandemic I was in the Bay Area about once a month and it would have been easy to swing by and check it out. Not sure how I'm going to handle my search now without that benefit...

I felt the same way but didn't want to bust the seller's chops. For a little more money you can get one with 40k miles. Or less. It looks like they figure about 50 cents a mile or high miles, right? Average miles on this car would be what...20k miles? So they mark it down $24,750 divided by 50k. 50 cents a mile. Is that a dealer program that you found or is it free to use it?

I understand the point you are making about calling the seller out - would not do that on a marketplace ad, but since this is supposed to be a community thread on hot deals, I'll comment on what I see for market wholesale occasionally. The info is from Manheim (auto auctioneer) and represents the wholesale prices they are seeing across the country. It's not the price someone should expect to pay in a private party or retail transaction, but it's good indicator of market floor.

Agreed. Seeing the same in Midwest. Lots of cars with accident history sold at Porsche dealerships in Chicago area.
