I thought about buying that car. It has apparently been very well cared for and is current on service.

Here's a whole lot of car for the money, just cropped up on Cars.com. 11,100 mile 2013 4S, $71,900, seemingly with most options. PDK, PSE, Sport Chrono, 18 way seats, heated and ventilated seats, black interior, nice SportDesign steering wheel, platinum silver exterior. Looks like it's missing a leather dash and a glass roof.

All it's missing is a duck tail!

My daughter works in the movie biz in Hollywood. She just texted me this from the set she is working on. Belong to any of you? Isn't Jed Clampett still a member here?

If you guys are looking for some free entertainment, check out the buried C8 Corvette threads which aren't allowed any RL boards other than the >> General Discussion >> "Other Marques" section now. They were all merged into one.

https://rennlist.com/forums/other-ma...vette-142.html

Seriously, the most entertaining stuff I've seen in a long in RL. Most of it makes you just shake your head.

That Corvette thread is hilarious.

STG keeps bringing the entertainment, I sit and lurk in anticipation with my popcorn.

I doesn't take a genius to understate that the C8 is a game changer specially at half the money for a new 992.

My plans for a 458 Italia are now on hold because of the C8.

I am a Porsche ****, but also a car ****. I'll withhold judgement until I see/drive one. I believe, though, that you get for what you pay. At least, there are no endless options to suck your wallet. And who knows, with that tariff rumor...

From all reports so far the C8 will deliver. GM invested a lot of $$ into the production and they plan on making over 40K+ a year of them. Economies of scale without the Porsche tax. The C8 has a lot of customization options without the upcharge game.

You pay like 20%+ more for a Porsche because their high profit margins and overpaid union German line workers.

The C8 will be a game changer. Wait until the higher performance variants come out as well.

The C8 being an N/A in the middle is big allure.

But with fit / finish and fundamental build quality like this, how they arrived at such a price point whilst meeting margins becomes more understandable.

.
