This is for sale at a Porsche dealer. Is there really a stop sale?

The stop sale order included a detailed description of the various models that are affected. It applies to such cars currently in each Porsche dealer's inventory and to their future-acquired inventory. However, I suspect that dealers may be free to still advertise such cars for sale, but they can't actually complete the sale without violating the order.

Just inquired about a 16 with SC, salesman said they can't sell it right now, but a software update is coming. Take it for what it's worth.

Out of curiosity I’ve checked with SA’s from three different dealers about the status of my 2016 C2S with PDK and SC. They all claim that there is a master list of affected vin’s whether or not in dealer inventory and my car’s vin is not on the list. Who knows at this point if this information is accurate.
