Most people cannot drive in sport plus mode on public roads. It's just too ridiculous. So they did it specifically for the track? I also find this hard to believe.
99% of my driving in a 991.1/2 & now 992 is in S+ manual mode. Otherwise I agree. S+ auto is too aggressive on the street.

Ah yes... I do have the PDK. I hadn't considered the manual aspect.

Got it. Yes this makes sense.

Speak for yourself buddy. I start my day off in sport +. If there was a sport + infinity I would get that. Haha

I drive in Sport 100% of the time. Have the T-design module so it starts in Sport too. But I don't usually drive in manual mode. I just never could get that into it. It'll never be the same as having 3 pedals.

Stop sale? I just took receipt a few hours ago of a CPO'd 2016 GTS cabriolet MT. I started negotiations with the Porsche dealership about 5 weeks ago and finally took delivery today. Had the car shipped from the Porsche dealership in the Northeast down to me in Florida. I was keeping track of this thread the entire time and thought any day I would get a call stopping the sale, but not even a rumor.
I don't doubt others have had issues purchasing, but fortunately my sale went through.
