There was a fan in front and back. After watching the Seen Through Glass video, definitely not as ideal as that.

I wish someone would find a way to utilize the stock boost gauge to display significantly higher pressures (at least 30 psi). No offense to the accessport but the boost gauge stinks with having to subtract atmospheric pressure.

One would think that since the car was reprogrammed during the installation of the X51 kit, the gauge would have also had its upper limit increased.

Good to know. Mine as well.
Did you dyno your car? If not, what's the butt dyno verdict? Drastic change or not?
I'd be curious to see another S owner's results.
The only time I've seen 17psi is when lifting, it will briefly spike. So I'm not totally convinced it's some software limit of the gauge.

Circle Porsche tried to get Porsche to include reprogramming the boost gage along with the x51 kit, but nothing came of it. I've seen as high as 25 (40-14.7) on the AP while the car gage is pegged at 17.

factory X51, on the window sticker and on the VIN build
Cobb AP
Factory Gauge still only shows 17

Interesting. Good to know the GTS/X51 boost gauge is limited to displaying 17psi.
Can anyone confirm that a non-X51 Carrera S shows 17psi? And if so, is it stock or tuned?

Carrera S, Carrera S x51 both showed 17 on my car ( see previous reply to you). Tuned also shows 17.

I ran Stage 1 on my T for a couple of weeks. Really liked it. Very linear similar to stock but just more thrust. Sink in the seat feel. I bumped up to Stage 2 for a couple of days and it just did not feel as linear. Seemed to introduce some lag and felt more “tuned” where stage 1 just felt more refined. Went back to Stage 1 which is still a massive improvement over stock. I have PSE with the Sharkwerks muffler delete.
I think a Protune would be the best next step.
