Great numbers, I have not dynoed my car but i have tested it using a draggy. Mods are BMC filter and Soul Catless pipes 911.2 GTS Cobb Pro tune on MS109. My tuner is confident there is more on the table but we ran into shifting issues from 3-4th gear where the car hangs. once we figure out whats wrong I will get intercoolers and bigger turbos.

I think that's the highest trap speed speed I've seen on stock turbo's, and the 7.4 is right up there too!

Thanks man, and thats with the crazy hang 3-4th i really believe the car would go 7.1 6.9 60 to 130 and 132MPH. we shall see once we figure out the shifting issue.

I'm dealing with a similar Hang or Throttle Lift feel with my MT T at 4900 to 5600 rpm in 3rd gear. Cobb Pro tuners working on this now. Will load another file today that should fix the problem and record some WOT runs along with the WOT 3rd gear pulls to see what happens. I'm on stage 2 with GTS turbo's.

Looking forward to your results @991.two as this is the first I have heard of the hangup with the manual tranny cars. Hopefully they can figure it out.

Sounds like a PDK tune is in order. Impressive data, btw!

Already did the PDK tune and went beyond that my clutch pressures are way higher than the OTS "aggressive" PDK tune.

What my Tunner found is that the Clutch isn't actually slipping the TCU is just not engaging the shift to protect it self he is now going through the available TRQ tables

its supper frustrating but no other choice right now .....

Nabil: I think I was one of the first to experience this and it seems to happen on cars producing the most Torque and HP, mostly GTS cars with PDK. It is widely believed that the ECU has a table/limit and when the torque hits that limit the ECU "retards" the shift to protect the engine from too much torque. I have had 3 different tuners produce 3 different Protunes and none of them could solve it. The solution COBB came up with was to just reduce the overall Torque and HP from the tune and voila, no more stutter from 3-4th. That wasnt a suitable solution for me, but it certainly stopped the shift issue.

If your tuner can figure it out and at the same time keep the numbers as high as they currently are, I will be impressed and will give him a call to tune mine..

PDK tune will not fix this issue as it has nothing to do with clutch pressure or clutch plates slipping, it has to do with the actual engine limiter being hit at redline from 3-4th.
If he can raise that limit/table somehow at that one spot (or slightly limit the tune at that one spot) then he will be able to do what no other tuner has been able to do.

@PTS-BRG you are 100% correct, my guy is great he is now trying to dampen the power at that point by slightly closing my throttle. he said COBB hasn't released all the tables for the .2s yet and he is hopeful that they will eventually do so.

its not a secret my tuner is Mitch (M-Engineering) he ie a great guy and has put in an incredible amount of time on my car considering the car has never gone on a Dyno. He has made some very interesting finds but unfortunately non have lead to the dreaded limit.

I keep asking him how are we going to get faster and his answer is always buy a 720S LOL!!!

Nabil: Sadly, we have the same tuner. He was my first Protune. Mitch is certainly one of the best around, he actually wrote the software for our 991's while working at Cobb.
He Protuned my car on a dyno for hours. He revised the tune. He even created several new tunes for me...I still have the problem.

I emailed Mitch a few times over the last few months asking if he was ever able to figure it out and he never got back to me.

I wouldn't hold my breath Nabil. I have had this problem for 2 years now. I hear APR has done some great things with the ECU and perhaps they know the table that needs to be tweaked, but as of this writing, Mitch hasn't been able to correct mine. Best of Luck. If he can figure it out for you then he will have figured it out for me..

@PTS-BRG man that sucks, Im very interested on the APR tune i'm actually ready to pull the trigger on the E85 file however everywhere i've looked all they post is Dyno Numbers. I love their results but let's be honest Dyno numbers don't tell the full story.

I'm almost tempted to just buy it and test it post my results call it a day Ill loose 1600 bucks if the 60-130 inst 6.999 but it is what it is.

I have a few problems with APR.

1. I dont want to have to go to a local programmer to add or remove a tune. The COBB AP allows for instant changing of tunes, returning to factory or just trying out something new. APR along with everyone else doesnt have this feature, which is why COBB's platform is still the best, IMO

2. APR doesnt have enough data or reviews from actual users that I have seen, to be able to make a determination as to how good or bad their tunes are or if they have been able to solve the 3-4th problem. If they have a great tune and it does the same thing as the Cobb (3-4th stutter) then I dont see any reason to jump ship. GTS cars especially are very limited with APR tunes, I dont know of a single one as of yet, but they seem to be a legit shop.

3. My last gripe is more personal. They advertise and participate on another forum that is owned by an individual that has been repeatedly banned by this site. The fact they can associate with someone like that makes me question them as a company. Not sure I want to get in bed with them for this reason alone.

I have always believed that Mitch was THE tuner, and I still do. He is focused on Mclarens now and Porsche seems to have taken a back seat. There have to be tuners out there that have unlocked more tables and who can figure this out. It will take time, but the 991.2 engines have already been discontinued so they have all had ample time to figure this out..

@PTS-BRG I agree with you on every point. Mitch is 100%. focused on the Macs but I annoy the crap out of him all the time LOL!!!!!!!! so he keeps working on it.

On a separate note i was not aware that our engine is done??? why would that be if it's such a good little engine. what does the 992 have???
