V2 support has expired. The current Tuner Software(1.9.3) is designed for V3, it won't work effectively on V2 device.

Installed mine yesterday. Downloaded the Tour calibration file and updated. Starting to rain so will drive when weather clears.

Judging by the light under the left front, I'm guessing he's on one here.
Do you guys collect telemetry from customer cars on specific tracks to help build the product too?

Can we send in our V2 to convert to V3 or do we have to buy a completely new unit?

Testing conducted internally because too many unknown external variables with outside-sourced data.

No Sir. Completely different circuit board hardware. Want the newest spec, buy new. Its like we can't convert a 997 car to a 991 car for a fraction of the cost of a 991 car.

Loving my DSC controller on my 991.2 S. I ordered the unit with the GT3touring file loaded. I am looking for a bit more aggressive (tighter) settings. Looking for sharper turn in and flatter body roll/squat/dive, etc.

Tom, would you suggest I try the GT3RS config? Does that config have more aggressive settings? Not worried about a smooth ride as most of the roads I drive are in pretty good shape. I figure worse case I can always load the GT3 touring back on.

thanks!

Glad you're loving your DSC. The Sport mode in the GT3 Tour file is exactly the same as the Sport mode in the GT3/RS file. The damping commands during peak loading is the maximum capability of the OEM dampers. The initial roll is by design to optimize weight distribution for grip.
Some roll, dive, squat is necessary in order to have good grip. Check out this video with my good friend and legendary pro race car driver Randy Pobst doing a quick on-the-dash demo of weight distribution at 1:24 -

Subjectively, if your personal preference is to have less weight distribution, then you could use the DSC Tuner software to shorten the soft end of the dynamic operating range in the Shock Calibration table in Sport mode.
Using the example image below, by starting at 1200mA it would be stiffer than the standard 1400mA. Our standard 1400mA starting point in the Shock Calibration table utilizes nearly the full dynamic range of the OEM dampers for optimum performance and versatility.
The full procedure is to first remember the mA values at 100% cells, then Clear All, then re-enter the values at 100% cells, then enter the desired mA values at 0% cells, then Fill Empty, then Update, then Save file to a new name, then Write file to your DSC V3 controller, then Reset Board after writing file. Done.

I have enjoyed my DSC module on my 991.2 GTS for a while, must be about 18 months now. Great on road and track also. I may be selling my GTS soon, just wondering if the module is compatible with my 718 spyder? I understand that I would have to change the file settings, but would love to keep the DSC module and use it on the spyder. Cheers.
It’s a V3 btw.
Ah no worries, I read your post #360 @Tom@TPC Racing so it looks like a V3 for 991.2 will work for my 718 spyder. Thanks.

Glad you have been enjoying your DSC V3 on your 991.2 GTS. Your 991.2 DSC is compatible for 718 Spyder. Just change the calibration file to the 718 GT4 file, this file works great on Spyder.

I'm taking delivery of my .2 GT3 tomorrow. I had the DSC controller for my z06 and it was an absolute game changer. Any idea when it will come off backorder?

The orders up to this point are scheduled to be filled in approximately 2 weeks. Once the current standing orders are filled we will have available units in stock(at this time). But please be advised that we receive new orders daily so if you definitely want one then it would be a good idea to order sooner and have an allocation instead of the being left out until next production run.
