The DSC was the first mod I did on my 2019 C4S. My wife wanted a better ride around town and that's what we got. And then on the twistys in sport mode and the GT3 Tour or GT3RS file, wow! Car feels planted. Confidence inspiring.
Money well spent!

LOL! That is what I was doing after installing this controller. I am coming from a 981 and now the 911 handles like my old 981, like on rails. It is very noticeable making this upgrade. I was laughing on how much it improved the car handling. I mainly wanted a more planted feel for spirited driving and boy does it deliver. I hate that bouncy floaty front end on roads that were not the best and didnt give me a sense of confidence going into corners. It is weird, the car acts like it has an extremely stiff suspension when cornering or trying to induce body roll but when you hit crappy pavement it soaks it up and no more bouncy rough ride.

Oh and for future readers if you have a cab find the video for installing the smart top and follow that. They also have a PDF on their site.

LOVE IT and BUY IT now!

Took mine out before winter storage at the dealer. Still used the 911 for a few days and boy did I miss it. Car was not pleasant and hard on my lower back problems. You can easily feel the difference when going back to the stock controller after having the DSC for a few months.

DSC V3 veterans. Just did the install of the DSC V3 on my TTS yesterday. Easy DIY just a little stubborn removing the old. Easy on with the new. Very noticeable ride improvement from the start.

I have PDCC on my TTS. When I engage Sport Plus with the DSC PDCC does not engage auto. I’m fine with that. Do most use the PDCC setting and does it provide any benefits after DSC install ?

Just ordered one yesterday to take advantage of the 10% sale. I guess it won't be delivered before the next batch (end of December?) but will also share my experience.

4.0: I'm reassured you also shot a set of pads in a couple sessions. This happened to me 2 days ago as discussed in another thread. It seems notorious that stock pads should NOT be tracked... first time I experience this on a Porsche in 20 years!

I may have done the calipers as well as the rotors.

The Endless ME20’s are fine 🤣

I went so far as to peel back the rear panel and pull out the OEM module. But it’s gotten a little too cold in Chicago to get the DSC controller in this year.

When do they offer a discount in the new year?

Usually do not have sales, Black Friday is a good time to take advantage of their sale, it does end today.

Glad you have your DSC V3 installed and noticed the improvement right away.

The PDCC button does two things 1) selects Normal and Sport mode for the dampers, and 2) activate the factory electronic sway bars. With PDCC button turned ON both the dampers and sway bars are in the more aggressive mode. Answer for your question is Yes, having the dampers and sway bars in the more aggressive mode mean you're race ready!

Hi Tom,

What happens to the Tractive Shocks if you add 1000lbs of downforce to the car?

Asking for a friend. 🤣🤣

I called in yesterday and Jeremy was very helpful over the phone. I don't have a PC so they are going to load the GT3 Touring file for my C4 cab. Apparently back ordered for a while but my order is in.
I think the shipping charges are pricey, but maybe it's in the packaging?
My goal is to put so much money into this car, even I won't trade it in on a whim for an Aventurine Green order. Making good progress!

I placed my order last night as well. I also requested a GT3 Touring file.

I also placed my order last night at 11:52 pm, cutting a little close to deadline!
I also will use the GT3 Touring file as my starting point.
I presume from following this thread that this is one of the “standard” files already loaded before shipment. Correct?
Also , I did not order the optional cable ($10 maybe I should have?),

Looking forward to install and first drives in April after winter hibernation 😬❄️
