Couldn't care less about value because ours are already the only narrow body T’s. I’m sure it will be a great drive regardless but collectible, meh, only if you’re referring to one of the last manual transmissions, yes.

Its a bit disappointing as I was expecting more like Porsche did with GTS by giving it some parts off the Turbo model in 992 generation.

This new T really doesn’t add anything new.
The T interior package seems to have more limited color choices and no more door straps from RS. I was hoping they would at least give it S brakes and the Sport bumpers.

If I didn’t have my T then I would consider it. That could change though when i start playing with configurator lol.

More power is not what the marketing euphamism "purist driving experience" means

similar reason for not getting S brakes.

you CAN add sport bumpers as an option.

do love the extra colors, plus the +100 custom PTS colors

But overal given wait times - Im happy with mine especially since it’s a narrow body, non-digital, around 3150 pounds (pdk), door straps…. 🙃

porsche always puts out something better.

I would seriously upgrade if the 911T gets new gt3 front suspension. Luckily I have 20 years to wait for that to trickle down.

Well, come on. Carbon roofs, Burmester, SportDesign Packages and $3.2k of paint sure add up. That’s a wish list, not what your typical T owner was going for. We T’s are simple folks, no?

Not sure what my reaction is here. Given (it seems) all 911s are now wide body and have optional light weight thingys… The lightweight T concept is diluted. I guess ability to spec a MT will sell this car.

🤣 well played sir, well played.

most of the above, except CF roof and Burmester are on my current T. I guarantee that Porsche used that CF roof when they weighed it though! Most of the desired options have skyrocketed in price by almost 20%.

We can speculate all we want about 991.2T values, but I do wonder what the net effect will be on our cars from all this new press and exposure. Something tells me the T will be more well known now and that may help hold values in the long run.

Irrespective of this, I thought for a second about putting down a deposit for the new T but it would just be chasing the latest and not necessarily a "better" car. So I'm keeping mine.

When you buy those 10 luggage sets can I have one

Agree best T is a stripper T, but I would find it hard to resist checking that PTS option!

I'm not sure it'll move the needle much.

I think prices for current Ts are inflated like everything else, but I don't see them as investor cars at all (by that, I mean creampuff examples going for crazy prices decades down the line like RS Americas and whatnot)

Best driver's package for the buck and a little more special than a base or an S, yes, but I'm not treating mine like a Faberge Egg. Drive 'em!

Putting $40k in options on a T defeats the purpose and ethos of the T. At that point what made the T special and lighter weight is made completely irrelevant and you’re left with something heavier, more expensive and still a base Carrera motor.

To some extent I agree but I’d say it’s about the balance of weight and performance. Some people think it’s barebones and others with RWS, PCCB, etc. Neither is wrong. I remember when I used to configure my 991.2T and the first thing I’d check all the boxes under the performance tab with a MT, LWBS, and anything that could save weight, even researching the wheels and then I’d see what looked good to round out the package. The 992T configurator solidified what great vehicles we already have.

I’m sure at some point they’ll have PCCB and LWBS available in the configurator, but what a bummer it’s not there now. A Python Green T with Yellow PCCB and LWBS with custom inserts would just be mmm Not that I would replace my current T, but playing with the configurator is my second favorite pastime right behind scrolling through the Netflix menu and finding nothing to watch.
