Excellent point on painted splitters, there it matters!! Otherwise you can replace your splitter about 8 times for the cost of the FAL.

Mine rubs every day leaving my house, but it's just scuffing the underside, can't even see it. And if I were so **** about what I can't see, I can replace it for a couple hundred bucks and be factory new.

I have 2 of the T splitters - one painted to match the mirrors during the summer, and another factory black plastic one to beat up in the winter. It was an excellent decision by Porsche for these to be swapped out / replaced so easily.
