maybe (if) a 992 GT2 comes out the fabric door pulls will come back, then they can be retro fitted onto the 992 T…. But it doesn’t matter it can be optioned w/ carbon roof & li-ion battery more than make up for it.
but the digital cockpit & automatic door handles are troubling.
aargh …. wish someone would compare weights savings of a 991.2 Carrera T vs a similarly equipped Carrera S…. Think that’s where the real story is - less HP but even less weight.
It's in the technical specs on Porsche's website. I think it's 8.6lbs/hp for the T and 7.6lb/hp for the S if I recall correctly.
Edit: Meant the 992, but I'm sure you could find the 991.2 as well.
Is it me or is the 992 starting to look and sound like the parts bin car that people thought the 991.2 was? I just don't get how adding another 150lbs and charging $10-15k more is considered light weight ethos.
UPDATE: Car is now sold. Thanks for all the interest.
Hi all, if anyone is interested in a low-mileage 2019 Carrera T, I am selling mine. I placed an ad in the marketplace if interested. See here. Absolutely pristine 2019 Carrera T, in showroom condition. White exterior, black interior. Only 6,450 miles with a few months still left on Porsche warranty for additional peace of mind (intact through January 2023). Dealer maintained, hasn't seen a track (or rain), always garaged. Just dealer-serviced in September (routine annual service). Added clear side markers, and PPF on bumper, hood, front fenders, mirrors, rockers and behind rear wheels.

One thing that surprised me, although it shouldn't, is the pricing now. I even commented to that in the vid. That car is over 20k more than mine, and "all" I really have is the T interior, FBs, RAS, and PCCBs... I know that PTS and that carbon roof are a sweet chunk, but dang... I am no where near objective, but I really feel we got a sweeter deal and our cars are just a little bit more special for it. Time will tell...
