I forgot to mention the $3k would include a new battery also.

My 4 years is up in Feb. I just did my own brake fluid flush... so I wonder what not having the dealer do that will that save me? $50? ahahahhahahhahahah. ...I'll start saving... What does a brake fluid flush cost? (...I nearly fell over at the 2nd year service at the price of the windshield wipers!)

After that 4 years (and warranty over) I may contemplate that switch to the GTS Turbos (i.e. the APR Stage 3 kit).

Hmm.... I might have to buy this pic from last weekend...

I’m too afraid of leaving air in the brake lines to try to flush them myself.

However, I thought I might take on changing the engine air filter myself. But then I saw a YouTube video about how to do it and I realized why the dealership charges $500 for it: back end off, Y-pipes off, all sort of cables and tubes to disconnect, yeeeeesh!

Well played, and did love that little Easter egg the first time I shifted into reverse.

So glad to read these lines—and great looking car! T looks great in so many of the colors offered, but there's just something about silver on these…

I agree. I think GT Silver is unlike any other silver. It doesn't have a red or blue tint but a monochrome silver tint. Not too light and not too dark. Side by side with other colors it shows off the lines and curves better than any other. Having said all of this, I'd be tempted by Guards Red for my next one. Or Shark Blue.

Yeah. I didn’t appreciate that a 911 should be in an actual color.

Don’t tell Wing Commander this, but I kinda wished I had gone for the ‘launch color’, Racing Yellow. Somehow with the accent colors it just looks just right. It is very rare to see a RY in the wild.

My dealer only charged $164 to change the engine air filters.

You have great taste My RY T still makes me smile, in any weather, after over 3 years of ownership and over 34k miles covered.

Any fellow owners fitted the DSC PSM box? I’m thinking of ordering as the roads are dreadful here but slightly worried it’s snake oil..

I have one. After many reviews about how revelatory it was I had high expectations. Maybe too high. I honestly don’t feel much of a difference on the road or the track. I’m sure it’s “better,” but my butt dyno just can’t measure it.

It's legit. It makes for a far more GT like suspensión feel. In the sense of compliance while also being higher performing. Immediately tangible upon installing.

^ Fully agree.

Mike Levitas has always been ahead when it comes to damper tuning, and few realize how important dampers are when it comes to how a car handles—and how fun it is. While a DSC box might seem expensive for what it weighs, it easily beats new dampers + install + alignment…and is arguably better as Porsche's PASM dampers are actually quite good. What you're really paying for is the knowledge behind DSC, and it's worth every penny.
