hey guys, i've got a 2019 T and have a question i was hoping a fellow T owner could answer.
i just had the horrible experience of giving one of my wheels curb rash. i'd like to touch it up myself. i've found various gray metallic paints for porsche online (see list below). however, i'm not making much headway finding the 'titanium gray' paint used for the standard 20" T wheels. i know that the agate gray (Achatgrau Metallic) is used for the side mirrors and engine cover grill, but it's a different color than the wheels. does anybody know which porsche metallic gray paint is the best match (or where/how to buy that titanium gray paint)? any other good solutions for dealing with curb rash (other than buying a entirely new rim)?
Achatgrau Metallic LM7S
Quarzitgrau Metallic 3M
Vulkangrau Metallic 2H
Atlas Gray Metallic 6C2
Carbon Gray Metallic LM9Z
Meteor Gray Metallic 9Q
Lava Gray Metallic LR7M
Thanks, guys!
btw - it's my first post here so pls lmk if i should post this someplace else...
Quite honestly, don't event think about DIY. Ian a VERY DIY guy, and after seeing what it took a professional to get one of my wheels fixed I would say get a pro. He had to use several layers of pint to get the perfect match. I even offered my son $100 if he could find the fix and after 30 minutes going all over with a clinical eye could not spot where it was repaired. Not worth doing it yourself and making it worse.
I have several rock chips, vice rash, that I've touched up myself using the above color. You can definitely tell from a foot away, but not beyond that. I've been waiting to get all the wheels redone once they get pitted to the point that I can't stand it... But I'm also a non PPF guy and touch up the love bites on the rest of the car as needed as well. Good Luck, danp 100!

T army,
Talking of wheels... due to a puncture thingy I ended up putting on my new Sport wheels. These are the ‘stock’ two tone paint color scheme ordered from Suncoast.
SWAP?
Just putting it out there... If anyone (In the Pacific NW) happens to want to switch their titanium T Sport Wheels and swap for these brighter color versions... let me know. Otherwise, at some point down the road, I’ll get them painted titanium. No rush, but they are in very good condition now.

Hi all; finally joined the T Party! My twin brother. Frank (GT3FSZ) bought his T last December and he hasn't stopped singing the praises of it since then! We go back a few years (53!) as Porsche owners and started our PCar journey in 1967 sharing a brand new 1967 912 Polo Red, 5 spd Coupe. Fast forward to 2020 and he and I are still at it. We have shared half a dozen really special Porsches (73 RS Touring, 86 944 Turbo Challenge Series (1 of 6), and #21 of the 45 1992 Carrera Cup Challenge Cars brought in for the aborted Porsche Cup Series in the US). Special times in special cars for sure.
My latest (until last week) was a gorgeous 997.2 GTS, Coupe, manual, GT Silver, 5 lug wheels, 25K miles bought 18 months ago from a RL member. Lovely car, "too nice" and I didn't want to rack up the miles. And brother Frank kept tugging me towards a T as the way to have a fun, sorta special Porsche that I would want to drive more and worry less about......
So, last Thursday I picked up my 2018 Carrerea White Metallic, 7 spd, RAS Coupe in Miami. Great build, CPO til 2024, and a driver with just under 10K miles on it. Great seller, and a smooth transaction for sure. Fun ride home to N. FL, in spite of severe T Storms the seriously crimmped my average speed!
Rain every day since then, so no fun pics to post, but I will share a few now and more later. Love the T and I "get" its charm. Driver, tourer, sports car, and potential track rat, all in one package. Really reminds me of my 69 911S 2,.2 L track car. In its's element no matter what!
Planned mods are cats/exhaust, tune(?), new Michelins. OTW, just get in and drive!

Nice photos. I also have a Carrara White that is spec’d very similar to yours, except I have the red interior T package, red dials and aluminum pedals.
