Anyone here know if the 991.2 GT3 steel brake could be a direct fit to the T?
AP Racing caliper rotor and pads Changed the suspension to Techart springs while we were in there Final look up front Before and after comparison of the AP Racing Road Brake Kit for the 911 Carrera T
+1 to the AP BBK for the T. Not sure, but I believe the GT3 has a different brake master cylinder.
AP BBK on the T has been wonderful. The calipers are works of art. They are extremely robust yet surprisingly light.
We are planning to release a review of the BBK and the DIY to Instagram. Follow @MateenMotorsports if you’re interested.
I have enjoyed having the AP Racing (road) BBK. I just switched from DS2500 to DS1.11 pads after wearing down the front DS2500 in one year/maybe ~10 track days. I am hoping the DS1.11 hold up better for track days. I’ll switch the pads back in Sept after my last track weekend this year. Switching them over took less than an hour and the ability to switch pads without removing the caliper is the best feature.
I must say my first track day with the DS1.11 introduced me to thermal movements and loud clanks that alarmed me at first. After checking with Essex, I am relieved this is to be expected.
I will be at The Ridge again this weekend. I hope the Cup2’s survive!

Me three. I’m running the AP Racing by Essex Radi-CAL Competition BBK with Ferodo DS2500s. I had the opportunity to try them out with new Sport Cup 2s at High Plains Raceway on Sunday. The improvement over stock is massive, both in stopping power and elimination of fade. It’s an excellent upgrade.
The DS2500s are perfectly quiet on track and street save for a single clunk if just moving in the opposite direction. It’s just the pads shifting in the caliper.
Have to say: If AP/Essex offered that setup with a CCB rotor (394/380 from C6 Corvette? Is there something smaller?), I might be tempted to swap from my PCCB. Suspect the cost might be neutral after selling off the PCCB parts (assuming they don't go on a shelf), I dig black calipers, and it looks like 19s become a possibility. Talk about sleeper spec.
Meantime, so great to see all these Ts used as intended. The GT Silver cars remind me why I occasionally torture myself by visiting this thread.

Come over here and drool, Stout. After all: It's your glowing review of the T that got us all here in the first place.
Hey everyone! I'm still loving my T after 3 years. Just had the 3 year service and everything is perfect. Knock on wood I haven't had any water pump issues yet.
I have decided to keep the car totally stock. Recently did a little DIY project and swapped out the pollen filters. Super easy!
It's great to see that so many of us are holding onto our cars. I plan to keep mine forever and maybe buy a Taycan eventually for everyday driving.

Here's another pic in Stout's honor:
What did you have done for the 3 year mx? No plan to sell my T for many years. It’s due for 3 year mx in October.

Only needed the oil change at the 3-year service. Next year is when I get to bend over and pay $3k+ for the 4-year major service.
That's where they need to take the rear-end off the car to replace the spark plugs and engine air filter along with replacing the brake fluid and other items

About what I figured. Enjoy your T. Loving mine. First car in a long time I can say that about.....👍
