OH, man! A little JB weld and your good to go....:-)
It would be hard to get it back on without pulling the bumper with some form of Epoxy on it or something around the edge.

Was definitely a pressure spike. I had it in manual mode and forgot. When I rolled into it, I expected it to shift on it's own and it didn't. So it bounced off limiter for a split second. That's when I heard the POP!!

Really hate that happened. How drivable is the car without boost / DME interference ? If you were 2 hours from home and needed to run 70mph on the Interstate, is it doable ?

Yeah it sucks. Trying to decide if I want to go ahead and spend the $ on IPD Y pipe / Plenum / intercoolers / Etc. Or maybe a do88 Big Pack. Or just go back with stock piece. I can get a used one for free from someone I'm sure. Sam said they usually trash them after upgrading.
It drove fine but not much power. I guess you could limp it home a good ways away. Although, that would be a lot of possible dirty air the engine was ingesting for a long time. Thank GOD I was only 1.5-2 miles from the house.
I supposed 70 mph would be doable but who knows, with the lack of boost / power.
Didn't throw any codes, so I was surprised by that.
This might be something everyone with a stock part needs to consider when out playing around.
Sorry that happened to you buddy. It’s pre-sensor so it’ll run although a little bit off maybe. It’s just that it can suck in crap so I would say glue or even just duct tape the top on so you can get it in the garage. I’ll get one out for you Monday to get you by. Interestingly I have not seen this happen yet although we do upgrade when we start pushing the cars for the most part, there are a lot of cars out there with the factory unit and it hasn’t happened. Looks like just a defective part/epoxy seal.

You're the man Sam!! Much appreciated!!
I think I'll epoxy it on for now, so I can drive it easy to the shop or friends house with a lift. I need to do my Plugs and Air Filter soon, so thinking of doing it myself and swapping it out then.
Drove it with a group to a buddy's for a residential C&C event. Some amazing cars showed up. Got to test drive a Huracan Evo. Amazing car and I'd like one someday...but it doesn't and wouldn't replace the Turbo S.
Loving my Turbo now, with the new full titanium exhaust/sound. That was the one thing missing and I now have it. \m/ \m/
So, 2f, you forced me to look back in my paperwork, and I am chagrined to admit that my ancient brain misremembered the mod; TechArt themselves supplied the custom wheel (which you are right has a small flat shape on the bottom), then I sent them back the OEM wheel. Still, the second picture I showed you is indeed the original OEM wheel. If that is thicker than yours, I don't know why. My car is a 2017 Turbo S Cabriolet.
Thank you Sir, I think this is something I am going to look into a little more; I really like the look, and I suspect, the feel. I have a thicker, flat bottomed wheel on my 996 and I love it - the stocker in my 2018 is a little 'thin'.
