Never been a fan of plastidip and my caps being shiny stainless really no paint is going to stick well so I’ll pick up a bit of matt black and gloss black signage film and try that before I have to see the loan officer 🤪

Good luck. My experiment was on the emblems only. I didn't do anything to the caps except ordering them in black/silver. I was keen on having the crest in silver.

Totally agree with your opinion on the Kline. I also had a chance to get the car out yesterday with a local driving group. At a stop sign I could see the driver of the C8 behind me set up his GoPro. At our next stop he came up to tell me that he didn't know a 911 could sound that good, let alone a turbo.

The only reason he was close enough to hear it was I was behind a 930 turbo that couldn't keep up with the other 991s in front of him!

Got in a good drive...it's always neat to see the titanium start to turn those cool colors.

Really liking this exhaust.

I think this Might have happened to me Sunday night. I was driving and get in it pretty hard and heard a Loud POP!! Now it's making NO boost. Car drives / shifts fine, just slow with no boost.

Thank God I was only 2 miles from the house. I limped it home. In training for the next two week so I have NO time to mess with it or even get it to the dealer.

So, this is a Newer Updated Boost Throttle Boot??? I have a 2017. This piece is newer than mine you think??

Big Question, Can this be reached / Fixed WITHOUT removing the rear bumper????

Thank you to anyone who might know!!!

Changed crest to silver.
Changed center caps to black/silver.
Finally got my gloss black emblems, need to put them on.
Took some pics.
Participated in local AZPCA autocross.

Yeah, blows when that happens. It was happening way too often on mine. I am not sure if the 2017 part is the same as 2019, but it was much sturdier and the clamps were wider on the 2019 compared to mine. Yes, you can replace without taking the bumper off. 20 min job. Part was $200 at dealer.

BTW, putting the current boot back on, or replacing it, you can do it yourself. Your back will not be thankful, but easy to do. I wouldn't go to dealer for that.

Agree, no bumper removal necessary. Just do a search for instructions on replacing the Y Pipe or intake plenum. It will take you through the throttle body boot removal and replacement. I know D088 has a good set of instructions. I would get another set of heavy duty wider clamps for replacement. There are some good aftermarket “turbo grade” clamps meant for holding boost out there.
Example: Steps 11-20

Blowing a clamp, hose or tube under boost is always a pucker ready moment.

I have been, admittedly, stalking the Boost Logic website...

That is a very good looking exhaust.
