Thanks for the positive comments!
Car not certified to have rear seats?! Actually, it is. It's no different than any other 911.
Only people in the back will be my kids, so if they sue me, I have bigger problems.
Do I trust the dealer to bolt in the seatbelts and brackets? Yes.

Expected you to say that. Search does not show anything for rear seats install in the 991 GT3 forum. Since you are the one advocating it for noobs you could be just as nice and provide the links for those noobs who are interested. But I don't expect you to since search doesn't provide any of that. A 997 install is not the same.
Whats next? A post showing that a retrofit of the clubsport half cage is possible on a 991 since everything is there to attach?

I challenge you to show an estimate in writing from any official Porsche dealer anywhere in the world who will install back seats in a 991 GT3.
If you cannot produce that document then it proves you have no idea what you are talking about.
I hope you can just accept that you were confused and didn't understand why you can't add seats.

He is frustrated because he knows he is wrong but thinks that if he shouts he will be right even so he provided incorrect info. Some people just are that way.

Guys - I worked as an automotive manufacturing engineer in Japan and the US. Everything you need can be added.
And you sure can get it done by a dealer. They are always seeking fat service bills.
Will insurance pay if someone gets injured? That's a different matter.
Personally, as an automotive engineer, if I supervise the work and it's done by a trustworthy shop, I am fine with it.
If you are not, that's up to you!
