In about three or four weeks hopefully. But it passes the time in the meantime. You should run a tab on a few remaining key variables that are debatable. Yes or No answers.
- Has rear (or option) seats:
- Exclusive colour :
- PDK and Manual available :
- Unique Model (not just package) :
- Detuned Engine :
Best of five....
Winner gets an allocation..

Just wondering if those who actually do or wish to travel with small children in the rear seats of 911's... Do you have any concerns with your children's safety in the event of a rear end collision?

make it safer. Could be wrong, but it's my $.02
I would opt for rear seats and have two child seats in the back.

If highly rated child seats are used properly, how is there any different to any other coupe with rear seats. If anything, I would think the engine in the rear should

I've always had my girls in the car with me. A GT3 with rear seats would be amazing. I love sharing the experience with my girls and with my youngest being 5 years old I've got plenty of use for rear seats.
Am I concerned about their safety, sure, but no more than any other vehicle.

Q: have you ever been involved in a collision?

Thank you.
Not since I fell off my motorcycle 20 years ago!
I place some trust in Porsche and the Feds for designing and certifying the vehicle for rear passengers.

I was t-boned only a couple of year ago, at speed and the carnage is all to clear in my mind.
It's why I ask..

I would rather have a rear engine that can absorb the impact and deflect downwards in the event of a collision, than nothing at all.
Remember that the higher the mass the better when talking about collision science.
I am definitely getting rear seats installed in my GT3, whether a factory option or not.

Quite a few have done it on this forum. Even DIY.
I would have the dealer do it.
It's not that big of a deal, the mounting points are all there. You get the OEM parts, and they bolt/snap in.

Likely to get your a888 sued if someone gets injured while in the back.
