I guess the R due to the roof and hood makes it look even better or maybe i just don’t like it in red

Hoping in person it looks way different than a GTS nothing wrong with a GTS but if i wanted a GTS i would just go buy a GTS

The color of the rims makes a huge difference IMO. While certainly the "R" roof and hood are special, you may need to look twice to see the difference. For a clearer distinction to the GTS, one should rather opt for the silver trim on the Touring.

For me, if I'm going back to 911's, I like the look of the GTS and I love the technology of the GT3. A GT3T w black exterior pkg together with grey, silver or black color would therefore be my choice. If only my SA would call me back soon... :/

for touring i am with you 100% on the silver wheels, even on a GT3 i would do silver wheels

the colors you mentioned do work better on touring, for me it would be black (non metallic), graphite blue metallic, agate or chalk. All with touring silver package as i like it bec it makes it unique over the other GTs and the silver exhaust is a nice touch in my opinion

Satin Aluminum appears brighter than the standard silver wheels on the configurator. It's misleading and likely due to lighting, as I can assure you that satin aluminum is more subtle.

I've seen both and while one can't go wrong with either, I prefer Satin Aluminum.

Might as well just get a regular winged GT3, and truly look badass in those bright colors.

Of course, by the same token I don’t see the point in ordering a winged GT3 in any shade of silver or gray, which is the same color as 40% of the cars on the road.
If you’re driving a winged GT3, it’s a fairly aggressive look, no reason to try (and fail) to neuter that with some version of battleship grey.
Excellent point and explained well. What this leads to in my mind is a pallet of colors matching the 911 50th anniversary edition. Subtle, but unique.

Those would look great, but I also I think there's room for some skittle colors on touring package cars.

Touring isn't always about inconspicuous... it's also about getting the clean lines of the 911 shape.

The early Viper greens, etc. were on wingless cars, and they look incredible.

About the more subtle colors, and no PTS for now, I get the reason why options are the way they are...but then this comes along and stabs me in the heart:

That is my dream color for a GT3 Touring. With the wing, give me Viper Green. But Touring, I would take the black package + Grigio Telesto. Sigh. PCCB, Yellow belts, 4-way seats, black on everything possible.

Can't agree, particularly from ground level. The front and rear look so much better and more aggressive than the GTS. And the rear decklid looks much cooler on the GT3T IMO.

I love how the touring looks on close up pics or when you see it in person just a couple of meters away but the pics of the red touring from far don’t make it look that much in your face i guess like it does in person

Not sure if i am explaining it well at all

I also think aerial shots like that rarely make any car look good. But I agree, I don't know if that red looks amazing on a touring.

I mean I get your point but people still order regular 911s in bright colors.

I may do racing yellow just for kicks because I like the 911 T press photos so much.
