I looked at both those cars and loved Chicane grey and it had a leather dash is what I wanted. The Napier green looks really cool and special order.

I love chicane grey and if I ever got a coupe I would get one, especially with orange calipers and seats. There are several nice Chicane coupes out there. I think $220-230 is the right price right now for a low mile reasonably optioned coupe. $240 with fender louvers (coupe). Maybe I am overly optimistic re pricing, but I think these targets are doable.
I also expect the pricing to rebound once more people pick these cars off and folks realize how special they really are.
Looks like the final ZR1 was built a week ago. A total of 2,895 were built, of which less than 900 were manuals. Not that any of that resale bs matters. I am going to rack up the miles on this sucker, limited production or not.

Most dealers are in the car for 240k pending spec ....some are north of 405k
A very good read on the "driving a fast car slow" conundrum, specifically related to mclarens but related to many powerful cars (and probably why a manual NA GT3 with 500hp remains "peak road car" for me)
I honestly believe that a proper driving experience consists of three critical pillars; the first being power balance, the second being handling, and the third being driver feel and/or feedback. Most will argue that the 600LT does all three of these, and performs well doing so. But I'd argue that though that may be true on the track, it's almost too much for a road car.
I agree with the article and would even go further to suggest that a car could also have too much power and grip to be fully enjoyed at the track as well. The author seemed to be a track beginner so he probably needs more track/race experience to arrive at this conclusion himself.

The more I look at Mac the more I want one. I was always a fan (contrary to what some think here) but do have my concerns.
Im 60 now. I have a 5 year retirement plan and dropping another $250k puts a dent in the plan. Love the 3RS. Drove it a lot yesterday. Amazing machine and the sound is epic. Even made the wife smile.
Watching 675LT vids. Wow. Love it. It would have to replace my FGT. Which is the RS stable mate for me along with “Charlotte”. Not sure I could part with the FGT ((Princess). Owned it 15 years and still love it.

Your Spyder is a MUCH better backroads car than any McLaren or any other supercar for that matter. I wouldn’t replace it. But if you decide to get rid of it, PM me the specs and price.

It's your problem if you view opinions as "facts". I've driven McLarens and plenty other >500hp cars. Horses for courses, tools for the job...
The thing about the supercharger is that it is linear. That makes a huge difference. I never once even thought about FI while driving that Z06. The sound was really good too. And those two facts pretty much eliminate turbo engines for me.
I agree - i hate all turbos to include the Ferrari F40 (sounds terrible and drives like crap), the 288 GTO, all Mclaren's ever built (including the 600LT, 675LT and the Senna), the new Ferrari Stradale phhh, and all modern 8 cylinder Ferrari's (all going Turbo), the Gt2RS, 959. Actually come to think of it - i like all those cars..
