I'm curious as why 675LTs wont keep going down. Aren't there now 600LT out and 720 LT coming soon?

Dunno about the upcoming 750LT (as that's pretty much in a higher price echelon than the 675LT)

But between the 600LT and 675LT, I think there are pros/cons to both:

Pros of the 675LT
1. Active Aero
2. (Banned) F1 Hydraulic Suspension
3. Super Series limited to 500/500 (Coupe/Spider)
4. Significant depreciation already baked into the price

Pros of the 600LT
1. Easier ingress/egress with the new carbon tub
2. Nicer interior and updated IRIS
3. Availability of Senna seats
4. Full OEM warranty period

No right or wrong, but I don't think the intro of the 600LT will significantly impact the resale value of the 675LT (which most dealers already have a hard to time unloading as it is).

600lt, while great, is still just a sport series car and not limited. Plus, it simply doesn’t look or feel as special as the 675 and engine wise is just a 570S engine with mild tune and exhaust.

The 750LT will likely be $500k and the 720 series, while attractive in its own right, will never possess the timeless beauty of the 675 with the raw feel and analog tach. And why wait two years for the spider to come out,

600 was a limited run. I have been told the 600 coupe ended up in the low 700s. Don't know the numbers yet on the spider but its suppose to be around the same number.
I have driven the 675 and it's awesome and prefer it over the 720 because of the feel and feedback. However I liked the 600 better which is what I currently own.

They will. I remember I almost bought Graham Rahal’s blue 675 lt. Was asking 50k over msrp. Glad I didn’t. 😉 Bought a 2012 12C in 2013 for 240k. Car had 1200 miles. Now 5500. Had AC display driver’s side go out in a year, McLaren used cheap bulbs. Dealer replaced for free out of warranty both, now my right side panel rattles. It’s the same game like Ferrari, buy a 720s, sell quickly, lose 50k, order 720s Spyder, give back to dealer, lose 50k. Order 750 lt, give back to dealer at msrp maybe to get 750 lt Spyder. Then lose 200k. At least with Ferrari you can get a Pista Spider, but they also want you to buy an 812 or Lusso or Portofino where you lose 50-100k. So people are maybe breaking even in the long run, but are spending all their time ordering cars instead of enjoying them.

On another note, if a Mac owner can help with experience...

I was with a friend at the track a few days ago and he was black flagged for sound.
He had to leave.. his 720S was hitting 95dB (92dB is the limit)

Is there any solution to reduce exhaust sound on these cars??

Agreed. 675 = timeless design and limited. The 600LT was only limited to the number of units McLaren was able to sell rather than a predefined quantity.

750LT (765?) will be a rocket ship but I believe we've already exceeded the limit of usable power from RWD platforms. Time for some front axle electrification a la SF90.

Stock exhaust or aftermarket?

I’ve driven the 650and 720S both hard and the 720S is insane rocket-ship. The 675LT just feels special, and it does everything well in my view and rawness like a RS. I have 99 of 500, and frankly I think they took their time building as they had to get it right. Hands down love the look and spec.

I have a Recechip piggyback ECU on the 570S that brings the car up to 675LT level of power and have no desire for more power on this rear wheel drive platform. Now you guys make me wonder if I should go drive a 675LT to see what this car is all about.

Be curious to get your driving feedback. I went with a coup as my wife complained about my 458 spider with the top down it was a hair thing, so I came home with the MAC told. Ha told her it was her fault. (:

675LT is a lot more than just more power compared to any 570S imo
