The second instalment (the balance) was due just prior to delivery.

By the end of 2014, the cars were sold and instalments were paid. My June 14 order had a 'sunset clause' of delivery by the end of 2015. (it arrived in May). I'm guessing later orders had sunset clauses into 2016, but in any event you had definitely bought it!
or leased it with a 200k deposit I can go back and look up the dealers lease offer prefer not to - when I was on Mclaren forum and posted the lease offering there is more than one active lessor here who could share as well.

Wow, someone is leasing a 918? If that's not a poseur, I don't know what is.

Kind of like down here in Laguna Beach where PCH is clogged with rented Ferraris and Lambos.

The Norm for UK is 10% of the pot with GT stuff, ie the GT3RS,GT3 etc

For the above 2 to 2.5k to hold good, that would mean close to 200,250 cars for UK.

Don't see it, not even close..........

I think you are right.. Speaking to my OPC they are getting 8 cars over two years and they say "this is pretty much the norm for all dealerships".

U.K. didn't get 10% of R production, more like 6%. 5% of Exclusive Turbo S (which I know is not a GT car). No guarantee there is still a set formula.

Extrapolate allocations on R basis, and you're easily at 2k. As you know, some dealers are expecting to get 3 (or more) GT2RS for every R they had.
Anyway, I don't know, but it's definitely a multiple of the 991 x R that were made. Still not enough for demand it seems!

Uk allocation of GT cars to OPCs historicity based on a % no of sales of none GT cars. 330 991GT3rs Reg in UK and 360 Gen 1 Gt3s. If one looks back at the no of GT cars produced over the years on say 996,997 then looks at the amount Reg in UK, its always around the 10% mark.

As you point out R and Turbo LE not classed as GT production cars. Same as the 997 4.0RS 600 cars, UK had 27, 500 997 GT2RS 25......10% only on production stuff not the Ltd runs.

I don't know either 100% but my understanding is based on the amount of cars mentioned above that would mean that each dealer has on average 7.5 Cars. Don't know anyone that has this....My local ones have 2 cars and one car each.....though they are not big dealers.

[QUOTE=NS2 Media;14439307]Here are several older renderings we did of the GT2 RS some of you may have seen on Facebook. If anybody needs any help speccing their GT2 RS or any other Porsche, feel free to shoot us a message!

That black one looks mean! Is this based on a matt or satin wrap? The Gloss Carbon against satin or matt black might look pretty good, especially on gold wheels.

The poor choice of colours is pushing me towards wrapping.

Still can't decide on the the spec of my March car.

I would love to see how a Weissach car looks in:
A) Carbon steel ceramic metallic with gold wheels
B) Matt/Satin Grey with gold wheels
C) A Matt/Satin Silver/White like in this crappy lambo pic I took. Colour looked great in th flesh.

That black rendering is based on a satin black, hence the sort of "pop" that you see between the gloss carbon and the satin finish of the paint.

Will send you a PM about the other specs you are considering.

Please do.

What colour and finish do you think that wrap is on the lambo? It looked great?
