I am still debating whether to stick with the standard silver rims though
I'm not saying I don't believe you, but what's the point of the VIP program if they can't get their cars till July but you can get yours in April/May? Also, how is Porsche going to build your car that fast when they haven't given commission numbers to VIP yet?

VIP cars are LHD, RHD, EU and non-EU. If you look at the PoS schedule Macca posted it looks like EU cars will be built first then

I don't know about Germany but I do know that the VIP program is not on all markets. Maybe there is no VIP-program in Germany.

Here's a comparison of the theoretical accelerations of a 991GT3 and a 991 GT3RS, I had to guess and the frontal area of the RS and made it a tad larger than for the GT3, I also used 15% for the drivetrain loss and a 200# driver

yes top mounts are monoball....some i may have missed.

No mention on volumes. Seems no urgency from PAG end at this time. I think LHD markets will get all the volume they need.

Bill - great to see you here buddy!

The frontal area is bigger than you may anticipate. Here is the slide that shows the data for your modelling.

USA only place with VIP program. Absolute ***** up that it is - was obviously the fruit of desperation by sales & marketing at the time but will have long lasting affects on primary and secondary market for GT cars and the like in USA moving forward.

Will there and can there be a limited production car anymore with porsche? If there is, the 918 customers would effectively swallow up the inventory which leaves the general market with nothing. Im not sure if that is a good strategy going forward.

So the GT3 accelerates faster than the RS for the most part? Sorry if I'm not seeing this well, it's from my phone in a cab.

Assuming the graphs are correct, my interpretation:

- In 1st to 5th gear, GT3 has stronger acceleration in lower half of the rev range, RS is stronger in upper half.

- In 6th and 7th, GT3 has stronger acceleration.

- Since max overall acceleration uses the upper half of the rev range, RS should be faster, but might feel a bit weaker in more normal driving (which doesn't really make sense to me).
