50 shades of orange :-)

It sure seems to be a difficult color to depict (is that the right word?)

Some had asked about production volume. So far, dealer hasn't been able to confirm, not even a general ballpark.

I'm not surprised. If I were in charge of communications here, I would not give out that number. The only time you do so is if it's a limited edition. At least, I've clarified this in my mind.

"An RS for everyone!" Yessss!

i'm starting to like this orange now.
i think that first and second pic from macca's main man, shows the true hue from mid bonnet back.
it's quite a deep, dark orange.

still, i have an affinity for purple, and less people would take the risk on it, but still many will, so that leaves motorsport white which should look quite aggressively cup-esque, and gt silver which will likely be the rarest production colour just like it's 7.1 antique ancestor.

thanks for the pics, macca, although i think next time you guys go on holidays your wife will look for a destination with no internet....lol

good stuff Macca.

RS has rear ball joint mount
the lightweight battery is 30lb. what did the old one weigh, 15ish?
I think my interstate h7 is just under 50lb so i wonder if this battery is worth it.

Sorry about the possible naïve question or if it's been covered before, but what function do the front fender vents serve other than aesthetics.

Thank you in advance

Those vents increase front downforce by over 2X than without per AP's EVO video and allowed for the park bench wing in back.

They vent the high pressure zone in the wheel wells and front of the car.

not sure if this video has been posted before, but I think it really gives you a good idea of the orange color

So, darker but real orange? Or redish or just orange with a little red in it? Can the color ever be judged as red?
This video restitutes very well how the lava orange is in reality (I saw the car last Tuesday in Geneva):

IMO the colour cannot be judged as red, even under darker light conditions.

I will not take the orange seats as I believe they will look crap after a couple of trackdays sweating behind the steering wheel ...

New member, first post and great news! I have just had conformation that my RS will be shown at my dealership on a Germany-wide new GT model presentation day April 18th, and the car will be handed over to me shortly thereafter!

Standard white exteriour with black wheels, given the in-your-face design features of the RS I did not want to add a colour which makes it even more ostentacious.

I am still debating whether to stick with the standard silver rims though

Nice first post, and congrats on such an early delivery.

Way to show up and drop the mike, I'm jelly.
