Four reasons come to mind: structural stiffening; DTM-inspired aesthetics; aero stability; increased headroom for helmets (assuming the bump follows to the interior).

The car needs to shave weight where ever it can. Epecially for an RS.

I would appreciate the next RS to be bare inside like the Scuderia if Porsche is listening.
Yes thats what i thought! Battery ans pccb - minus 30kg! But still i know a lot of people that hate pccb! I always had it and i love it! But there are sooo many people dont like it! Maybe cause they are more expensive at first and later compared to the stee red ones! Does anybody has experience with pccb on a gt3rs while racing? Is it worth it!? I had quiet a lot of people didnt want to buy my former used cars cause of pccb

With that filter the colour on the gt3rs look quiet accurate to real life

I think that Violet needs black wheels; the silver ones clash too much, IMHO of course.

100% agree - silver all the way with purple, black is too dull.

Maybe, but I'm a monochrome kind of guy. Will be interesting to see in real life.

My Viper buddy says the increased headroom for helmets was the main reason on his car.

Here is some more.

I think the darker colour (ultra violet) could look very good on this car to hid some of the black rubber trim like the other guy said?

Excellent information Macca. Although having compared the specs between the RS and standard GT3...it appears the GT3 is still the one to have. The specs/stats on the RS don't blow me away. Not sure why I would pay 40-50k more for the RS except for the bigger wheels/different aesthetics.
