Of those oranges, Gulf (far right) is my favorite. I like that it has some tradition behind it....

Funny how the LWB's on the RS don't have the small pillow on them just below the headrest but on the GT3 they are present, go figure.

Does anyone know if the mounting points for the club bar will be in the RS in the U.S. cars?

I thought the pillow was just in North America.

The pillows will be on all us bound rs's. They pop out very easily.

I keep thinking how tall the RS looks even tho only 17mm at the front axle. But the thick front splitter and the higher sidewall rear tyres is throwing my eye.

We know the car is 22mm higher than the GT3. Obviously 17nn suspension which compresses between 200-300 kmph and the another 5mm or so for the bubbles on the roof.

So what happens to the COG advantages AP talks about with 1kg roof, 4kg rear glass, 5kg for the two front fenders and /kg for CF hood? Surely a 22mm higher car would offset weight reduction COG up till 200++ kmph? Seems an odd argument to me.
Is the 17mm the accurate number for suspension being higher? I've heard that 17mm is the suspension compression from top downforce. But regular GT3 has suspension compressing under downforce as well - I'd guess 10mm or so (half the downforce but probably softer springs). So if my understanding is correct, RS would not statically sit 17mm higher than GT3.

Default Ultraviolet

Here is a quick mockup I did for the ultraviolet paint color to give an idea of what it might look like.

Max I've been trying to upload the slides all evening but managed only one sorry due to low bandwidth here in Mexico. The chassis of the GT3 is 93mm from ground and RS is 110mm. You can notice the difference when they are photographed side by side. The overall height of RS is 21/2mm higher than GT3. My observation looking at the slides of the two cars front on is the roof humps are above and beyond the standard GT3 roof profile. I'm not sure why the roof channels are there. The hood channels are there for show/nostalgia - the slide presentation shows and old aircooled 993 front hood as reference.
A few other areas of interest. Rear bumper made from new glass fibre reinforcing process 30% lighter. Wheel centres different design from 991 GT3. Rear keeper springs now part of main spring not separate as on 991 GT3. Main suspension difference is top mounts now spherical bearing. Rear fenders are steel, rear lights like that if GT4 are tinted. Interior is basically identical to GT3. Approach angle is worse than GT3 but departure and break over are slightly better. New battery is 40 mah and better insulated for better real world handling in low temps.....

I see. 17mm higher is very significant.

Blutorange aka blood orange aka tangerine 018
Signal Orange 116
997 GT3RS Orange 8C6 (in the flesh on a whole car it looked lighter)
Gulf Orange 019

He didn't show Lava in this comparison.
