Seems like the availability is drying up and should continue to do so. There were not that many produced for the U.S. and from what I see the current owners love their cars. The 992 just doesn’t do it for me and I had one. It makes me appreciate my 991 even more. The 992 is a great car but I feel the 991 version is more analog in many ways. It’s a great combination of old school and current technology. It’s sort of like Goldllocks and the three bears. It’s just perfect!

That car was priced to sell. Not surprised in the slightest. Original MSRP $175k I think, presumed it sold at $230k. I think the low miles helped it. My 2019 was MSRP $185k and sold for the same price (w/ CPO), but it had 8k miles (which is still low, let’s be honest). This was 6 months ago. Touring market is holding strong - if anything it might be stronger.
It was a must have for me. I don’t think there is any question it’s a must have for a lot of people. Tourings are less likely to be tracked where PCCB wear is an issue, so ceramics make a lot of sense on this car. No question that PCCBs increase resale, especially with only 714 or less in existence. The flip side is that because there are so few, resale is still pretty damn good on a car with iron brakes. So really all that should matter is whether it’s a must have FOR YOU.

Beyond my pay grade I guess. I have a collection of watches and that's the only way I can sort of relate to a large collection like that, but even then I don't buy watches that I don't really like or want to wear.

This is the touring in question. Any thoughts?
