I sold my Miami blue 991.2 gt3rs about a year ago for 24 over and honestly thought that was nuts.
it shocks me the prices are still this high and you got that much.
you did very very well. I mean **** is hitting the fan so hard right now on everything from Rolex’s to houses to cars, so I think you won’t regret it if you have other toys to enjoy in the meantime
I just needed to sell a scud or the Mb rs and if you’ve driven a scud….well imo the rs is a 9.5/10 car but scuds are 11/10 and only car I’ll never sell
I had been looking for a Scud for 1.5 years prior to buying my GT3. I always wanted one and could never find one that checked all my boxes to purchase so I bought my first Porsche. I now I have an RS but still lust for Scud. I’m hoping values come down a little bit in the near term and I can find a good spec.

one of these days it will happen.
I've never driven a Scud. But the STO is fantastic; such a fun car. The only car I'd consider buying other than an RS. I've heard the 675LT is great too, but I've never driven one. Anyway... I'm focusing more on snowboarding now. That's why I sold the RS. I want to move to small ski town and owning any car like this won't make sense. Driving fast is fun, but doesn't compare to slashing fresh pow at 60mph.

I'm headed to tahoe Monday to shred all week
Also just got back from Zermatt Switzerland (the matterhorn mountain) a couple weeks ago, boarding there was epic as well and highly recommend

Former Incline Village resident here and I monitor the news to stay connected for when I go back. The National Weather Service says conditions will be truly horrific for travel on Monday. Be prepared. I'm sure you are. Off topic but worth noting.
I was at Tahoe Tue-Thu this week. Epic full-on winter conditions. Driving South Shore to/from Kirkwood, in full white-out conditions. F350 was a champ. Debated driving my Mach-E, but glad I went diesel-powered. 10 day forecast for Truckee shows ~3ft due in the next 10 days. Cold and dry, atypical for the Sierra. Enjoy!
I'm keeping an eye on the FF market as well
teeheee
first Domino / Dealer Capitulation
2012 FF
this car was as bad example though
when I was young BBS LMs were the top of the food chain
now it's super cringe and ricey
and air suspension? previous owner really did a number on this poor vehicle

Dealers capitulating on higher mileage and older cars first ofc
fellas, your patience is paying off already
soon blood in the streets
and we shall feast in the despair over all the dead bodies (present company excluded ofc--wishing you all health and happiness and your car values to the moon 👍🏻

Finally broke the $170k support on the 991.1 GT3 RS. Mileage was on the higher side, but not too high. Only issue is that the Dealer refused to provide proof of the title in hand.
Just a quick reminder that as the R/R increases, as the liquidity drains, and our purchase power increases, the counter party risk does as well. Dealers taking funds from Peter to pay Paul. Don't be Peter.
Anyone considering taking a small $50k loan as a hedge just to get the bank involved in the transaction? Then just pay it off after transaction has concluded?
Normally, I just buy my cars CPO from a franchised dealership, so I don't need to worry as much about this sort of stuff. But in this inflated market, best deals are from the third party dealerships.
👷🏻♀️please stay calm, follow the overhead lights, and slowly head towards the exit👷🏻♀️
but those who get to the exit first will get the disproportionate share of the remaining liquidity
hahaha
"salvage title from a mild front end collision" 😂
"turned off commenting for this post"
They really do, merit partners has had a few clean ones that moved pretty quickly. They had a beautiful PTS grey highly optioned that sold for around $265k, I think they have a black one still and just added a PTS Meerblau but the other ones have since sold.
Meerblau just sold. Quick scan, but I don't see any PTS Tourings on the market now. 8 total cars for sale on Autotrader in NA out of the 755 built, or 1%. Approx 4% of the wingies for sale, which is pretty normal share.
