Yes he did! I agree, the 991 is better looking and comparing them back to back the 991 does ride better. I think the 992’s ride leans more towards the 991.2 RS in terms of its ride.I have had all of them so I am talking from my personal experiences.

49k over sticker on a 991.2 touring with 10k miles.

The desirability on these boggles the mind.
Funny enough - this is more than what I paid for a same better spec (different color), lower mileage West coast car several months ago that has CPO and full body PPF bought from a Porsche dealer. Value is still strong on a good spec.

I know I'm probably a broken record, but if you want a 991.2 Touring with PCCBs and LWBs…there just aren’t many of them. There might be one or two for sale in the entire country at a given time. At this moment, based on my quick search, there are zero (I may be wrong, of course).

Only 700 or so total 991 GT3T sold in the US market and only some of those were with LWB/PCCB. Add in lower mileage, single owner, no stories…that car is going to retain value.

I didn’t buy my Touring for investment purposes, of course. I’ve already put 1500 miles on it in the months I’ve owned it, but I am convinced that it is a future classic.

Yes, I agree. And the market agrees. 700 or so tourings total. And with each passing day, more miles.. more possible "stories" for each one of those.

Definitely a future classic.

I get the same sense. The car is really elegant and MT is sublime here

Greatest modern 911 IMO

I know this is a for sale thread, however I have to agree the 991 Touring is a great 911 and “one” of the best. Its design will age well in my opinion. Every time I drive it I look around the interior and love the look. On top of all the the driving experience is as good as it gets. Ok enough rambling and back to the for sale thread.

A buddy of mine just scored the deal of the year on a sapphire blue 2018 GT3 on Cars & Bids. $146k with sofas, steel brakes, 21k miles, 6spd, and 2yrs CPO.

Welcome to the club Michael.

Was watching that one. CA car. $146k plus fees and import costs. Low spec and $183k CAD MSRP so so even though it was a low price, not sure it was that great of a deal.

Really starting to think that I might have to flip my winged gt3 to a touring, if I'm going to hold onto it long term. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I the touring cannot be denied. Especially with the limited numbers.

I am trying to gauge the price in the market without the fees. So the one that went for $240,000, what would it be in autotrader?
