Just to add a smidge of info here for posterity; I recently purchased a 2018 GT3 in chalk with a pretty high spec and an original msrp of $186,050 (pccb’s, LWBs, manual trans, etc). Got it from Long Island Ferrari. I traded a new Raptor R on it and made some $ and saved all the original paid taxes so it made the deal pretty good. High mileage car with 19,600 on it. They had it listed for $179,900 and that’s what I paid, but made a lick on the trade. They also did the 20k service, new set of cup 2s, shipped both cars to and from TN, and did a full ceramic job on the car with paint correction. Has full front PPF to the mirrors. Hope this info helps anyone in the market! They did the tires and service for free AFTER the deal was done at no charge to me because it needed them. I thought that was pretty impressive. Oh, and ordered me a new set of the original missing carbon fiber floor mats at no charge, haha.

everything is coming down...even real estate in Miami is finally coming down. Some dealerships see it.....some dont. Just because some people dont see it doesnt mean it isnt happening.
This wins post of the year for me, so funny

Autotrader is just as super secret as Porsche dealerships phone numbers for those that are paying 6 figure ADM's

So I know this car has been discussed before, but now the listing shows the DME report.... Am I missing something? Or is this a really good deal?

yellow is always a tough sell, add in yellow trim and it’s a little tougher.

also according to most on RL, if it doesn’t have PCCB, , nose lift, buckets or full leather….it’s basically worthless hahahaha

I myself have had cars without those things and they’re still just as great and imo you really don’t “need” them, but it means this sticker was pretty low. Like this thing might not have been even 150k with all options so I’d say it pretty over priced tbh

Edit: also 20k miles is high relative, it’s yellow and probably not even 150k sticker…..I’d say avoid this one

Hagerty looked at Porsche auctions and found that while yellow is the hardest to move, when it sells - it sells for more.

Of course, there are many of them that are desirable and nice paintworks but I wouldn't be caught dead in some.
That being said I searched some while 'till one day I found the yellow one and knew immediately that that is my future classic. I fell in love with the speed yellow since the 996.2 GT3 official photos. It is true that mine has GT2-like wrap in carbon fiber look on the hood, top and mirrors and also rear fenders like on the 80's cars which also adds to the character.
Sure, it is a matter of taste in the end and no one can blame others for this, depending on region and lifestyle in some areas people tend to avoid flashy colors so you mainly see dark, white or the other 50 shades of grey. For me these are simply boring and would have a major impact on the driving experience. I even got for free a set of yellow belts from the seller which I replaced that week.
There are some recent time millionaires like Doug, who preferred the dream car in yellow, but hey, you cannot be that picky when searching for a limited edition Carrera GT . He also mentiones that yellow is a price premium, but mainly for low production numbers in that color for NA.
So overall the premium comes from the fact that there are not many to pick from when you search for this particular one.

Got it from Long Island Ferrari. It’s a CPO car that was certified on 9/20/22 and good for two years from that, but I got it from them about a month ago. Of note: they told me it wasn’t eligible for CPO because it was a Gt car, lol. So, it was sold as if it wasn’t under warranty. I saw it on the carfax and didn’t argue with them. Checked it with my local dealer and it is indeed under CPO warranty. I traded a new Raptor R on it and made some $ and saved all the original paid taxes so it made the deal pretty good. I thought CPO warranty is void, if sold from non-porsche dealer? Can someone please clarify this, thank you

It all depends if the new servicing dealer notifies PCNA about the ownership transfer. So be nice to your service advisor 😊

CPO does not transfer when sold by anyone other than porsche dealer. The car has to go through a CPO inspection and a new $3,500 fee to PCNA each time
this happens. There is no service advisor that can make this work, at least no approved/known way. I dont see why/how a service department would take a risk like this. The car may no longer be CPO eligibile due to various reasons including overrevs.

Car carries the warranty even after multiple sales once certified. At least it did a few years ago when I bought a used Panamera S from a Nissan dealer that had a previous but active CPO on it. Transmission got replaced under that CPO during my ownership.
