Anyone tried to contact this seller? Car's been on autotrader for a while and he doesn't answer his autotrader generated emails. He then posted the car on RL for a week or two and had a few comments asking about a DME report, but he didn't reply. I PMd him asking for a DME and this was his response "No Dme report available, car is clean inside out, just had a PPi done Friday". A few days later, the listing was deleted (and he appears to have been banned???), so I assumed it was sold. A month later it's still on autotrader and the price has been adjusted a couple times as has the mileage, so I'm assuming it's still for sale. It's a little pricey, but there aren't many 1000 mile tourings out there, so I assume someone has at least tried kicking the tires on it.

Seller just isn't that motivated. Or doesn't want to deal with tire kickers.. or perceived tire kickers. He should just sell to any number of dealers or do a consignment with Merit or Tactical fleet. Probably get a similar amount at the end of the day, minus dealing with the riff raff.

I assume the seller is thinking why would you need a DME with 950 miles?

That touring is a beauty, by the way.

Pretty much same spec as my car except I have yellow stitching. If he’s serious he should probably try Bring a trailer or PCar market in addition to the dealers you listed but he won’t have to pay a fee on the auction sites.

I don't disagree.......here's my PM. "DME report available? Sounds stupid to ask with only 950 miles, but a bad overrev can happen at any time."

You can miss a shift on your first drive. Lots of "screw the break-in" GT3 owners still out there. If I'm gonna pay top dollar for the car, I think it's a reasonable request. He lives in Pittsburgh and there are 2 Porsche dealers to go visit for a DME report.

100% reasonable and I’d have asked the same question.

950 miles is pretty low miles - if anything it begs more questions, not less.

I agree with both of you as well. A DME is kind of a given with a manual I'd assume. It's what I'd want prior to spending 250k or whatever. 950 miles is low and the car is 4 years brand new. I'd expect nothing in range 2 and 3 at the very least, and maybe minimal range 1's or even nothing there given the miles. But, hey, he may even already have a DME and is hesitant to provide it because of all the range 3's lol. Or, probably just as likely, he's not as particular as the rennlist crowd. I think we're possibly in another category, even for Porsche owners, haha.

Nice, yellow stitching with PCCB's? Pretty. Bring a trailer would be my go to. That site seems to bring out the emotional pricing.

Yes, PCCB’s, yellow stitching and belts. Otherwise pretty much my spec but I have brushed aluminum inside.

A GT3RS of all cars that is never driven. Unbelievable. This was not some limited edition, numbered model. Drive the damn thing!

IMO Merit would've listed this at >250k last Summer/Fall.
