For eurotunnel it looks like they run at 09:50 and 10:20

Coming back the same 12:50 or 13:20

Earlier train for both?

OK, so I've booked

Outward Folkestone- 09:50 (check-in 09:20)
Return Calais - 13:20 (check-in 12:50)
(local times)

This cost me £98 ! Which seems a bargain!?

So, am I travellling alone?

Good choice....especially since the required check in time is 12.50 on the return leg.

I'm booked. So you won't be on your own.

Don't know if anyone has also noted that the £ has strengthened against the € in the last few weeks......

Will be my pleasure.....ordered a HD Motorsport version last night for £160 delivered ! Now they've brought out a mk2 version (with 11Mp capture instead of 5Mp) the prices have dropped.....more money for

Got myself a mount for my front tow hook as well, so some low down a$$ capture in the offing!

"And here is the update.... with Crossing time and meeting point - What time are wee meeting at J11 M20?"

I aim to be at J11 services about 8:30'ish, it's only a short drive up to the terminal and I figure to get to the terminal between 09:10 and 09:15. Gives time to fill up with petrol at the services, buy a breakfast sandwich, etc!

Nice work again Frank

As Grant says, aiming to leave the services at 9 am should see us at check-in in plenty of time.

Here's the route to the hotel Ian suggests we use once we get to the other side:

It should be around 240 miles to the hotel. The main route will be E40 (also A16 in France) to Ostend, Gent, Brussels, Liege, and heads for Aachen, where we split onto the E42 to Verviers, Spa and Luxembourg. Past Spa, come off at J12 for Ligneuville. Follow the signs for Ligneuville, and the hotel is about 4 miles from the motorway, in the centre of the village, just before the bridge.

I guess most of us have driven in Europe before but does anyone want a checklist of what to take with them?
