Can I suggest either the 11:20 or 11:50 departures (from both ends) as that gives people plenty of time to get to Folkstone if they're not local and Calais on the return!?
That sounds good to me

I can appreciate that because it's a good old drive from my home to Folkestone, hence I'll be travelling down the night before and will stay nearby.

With the numbers going maybe we should think about two groups? An early bird group for those who have the time to spare (10 ish) and a chase group for those who are travelling further to the port. (11.20)?

I think I'll probably stay with my Folks near Ascot the night before, it halves my journey!

That way I could make the 10am departure time without a rediculously early hours start ;-)

Hi guys, I am afraid I cannot make it this time as I am trying to save for a suspension upgrade and don't have the spare cash. The trip sounds amazing and am going to be very jealous when you are all on the continent!

Tom
(see some of you on sunday?)

Put the suspension on hold because it could be a long time until the next one.

The Bookatrack website now shows that there are six of us fully signed up plus Ian, Liam and a few of their mates. Six 964s and about the same number of VXR8/monaros convoying to Spa should make quite a sight.

If anyone else is thinking of joining us, I'm sure a bit of sweet talking on the phone to BaT might still get you our special rate in the next few days.

I *think* the consensus is that booking in early Jan would be OK to still get the best prices. Unless anyone knows of any forthcoming price rises?

Regarding departure time the advice is to aim for around 10 am. Since, Grant and myself have a long journey we'll be stopping nearby the night before. So that time won't be a problem for us. However, it would be good to know from you guys living in and around London if you need it to be a bit later than that so that you can get to Folkestone in time?

Early doesn't bother me, I like the idea of travelling all together - so I'll be a sheep and follow the mass. Especially considering I plan to film the whole trip, I'd like to get as many ops to film as possible!
