Our helmet painter Mike does all the race helmets for Shoei UK's sponsored riders and the graphic designs and layouts for many of the works MotoGP and WSB. If I remember correctly, he mentioned that he can only paint composite helmets (i.e. carbon or glassfibre) and uses acrylic based paints.

Been told today that the wheels are finally on their way to us. If all goes to plan the car should be driveable by next weekend.

This thread is just under two years and we are just about to embark on the shakedown of the chassis. A milestone achievement! The last hurdle is the final configuration of The Ninemeister Race Engine with all possible goodies to make it a killer. Anticipating to see the progress any time soon this month and the final testing.

More big black round things to play with. This time 245/40x18 for the 9.5" front wheels and 335/30x18 for the 12.5" rear wheels.

Methinks grip might not be an issue. Well, not in the dry in any case!

Finally the car is rolling. And we have brakes. And we have engine.


Seats going in tomorrow, gearlinkage, driveshafts & electrics to come next week.
