And for those of you wondering why the delay in posting more information, this is the reason:
Marc is still working on the wiring, but this time it is the front loom which requires his attention. There is a lot of detail work to do which requires patience and knee pads. The 964 harness has to be stripped so we can blend the light wiring inside the car (as it normally runs inside the bumper on a 964); the GT3 ABS system will have its own harness (to keep and allow for easy future PDM replacement of the 964 harness) but the inter-connections have to be incorporated at this stage. Likewise with our hybrid 930/964 aircon system and the electric power steering unit. Here is Marc at the end of the day losely binding the boot section so we can detail finish it in the shell. Notice that he is seldom far from a cup of hot tea.

Sorry for the relative lack of progress this last week guys. We had to shut down the build shop for 5 days to give Neil the space and clean environment to polish the shell and panels of the current 9m Speedster build .... only for him then to have a couple of days off with a bug with Marc having to drop everything and cover his paintwork duties and keep things rolling. We'll be back on the case soon, I promise.
So, whilst waiting for more exciting things to happen, how about a proper photo of the seats and steering wheel? Can't tell from the photo: stitching on the wheel is blue, centre band at the top is orange.
But talking about wheels, shame we can't get the Zuff wheels easily as they really do look the part.

I know DZug just finished their wheels. They are shipping them out this week. While they are copies of 935 wheels, they do look good. I know you said you were running into a little trouble before, but they have gotten everything ironed out it seems. Try them again...

Back in the saddle again....
First job was to finish fit the main wiring harness, starting at the back and working forwards, clipping it in place using the standard Porsche fixings.

Next up Marc clambered into the front compartment to modify the plastic wire guide around the roll cage and to seal off the unused heater holes in the bulkhead using Dynamat.
