Moving swiftly on.....

Shakedown plan continues with the installation of the engine bay anciliary systems, like fuel pipes, filter, electrical box, coils, etc.

Whilst the engine is also prepared, including fitting the missing tinware piece and throttle cable as Mark is doing here. We have blanked off the servo take-off since the car is running booster brakes and the eagle-eyed may notice the later plug of the new GT3 crankshaft sensor (which now supercedes the old 993/964 version).

Fuel tank vent comes to the back of the car and exits via active carbon canister, located under the left rear quarter next to the aircon pipes.

Test engine now in place, Mark sorting out the anciliaries.

At the other end of the car, fuel tank offered up and interior filler neck checked for size. Breather tank will have to be modified to clear filler.

Nice one. Even makes the assembly shop look almost as good as the car.

What's the music track?

No, they are factory RS springplates with 9m trailing arm bushes. After testing we may consider other options, hence why we are keen to hit the track soon to check out the transmission, chassis and brakes.

Throttle cable connected.
GT3 clutch cylinder fitted, adapter made to suit 964 flexi pipe.
Fitting made for gearbox front oil cooler return connection, working on billet machined one for rear feed outlet.

..... and a better photo of the RS trailing arm.
