Your upgrade is awesome, the one thing I'm hoping you can help me with, is where did you get a sealed beam headlight assembly without the city light hole in them. I am hoping you can help me with that because I have been racking my brain and internet trying to find a sealed beam early 911 assy without the city light hole. Thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from you!
I appreciate the recommendations. Louden Motorcars is who I was going to use. The car has been in Houston so I will do some online research when I see the applicable maint records from the various shops. Its a C2.
Thanks for the quick reply.
No sir, it is not currently listed for sale. It is someone I work with that mentioned he was going to sell it. I told him I was interested in it but I dont know anything about Porsche so I have been doing lots of research. He said he would let it go for a price I can't argue with and I just want to make sure to do a thorough inspection on a deal that may be too good to be true. Here are a few quick details:
91, tip, cab, red w/ black int
engine rebuilt 5 yrs ago
mostly undriven past 3 years
all service records
bat goes dead after sitting for weeks
sometimes caution lights pop up (dont know which ones but will look into when i see the car)
If you can let me know deal breaker things to look for I would appreciate it, otherwise I think I may go through with it if it checks out. (knowing of course 964's require lots of attention).
Hey vandit, I understand you know a thing or two about 964's. I am going to look at a '91 tip convertible in Dallas and have read a lot about common things to look out for. Is there anything you can tell me to pay special attention to based off your experience? Thanks in advance.
I spoke with Mike, he can do the PPI, but annexe tell me he is 45 minutes away and it too far for them to go. Mike cannot pick up the car. Do you know anyone nearer to Annexe in downtown Houston. I saw on a post that someone recommended Eurowerks. Do you know them and are they any nearer.
