After replacing M/C and brake lines, filled up with Chevron and put about 100miles on her. The more I drove it her,the better it ran. More miles tomorrow weather permitting.

Put her atop the new lift about a month ago.
Showed her off at my community car show.

Default Interior Sunroof Motor Cover

Finally completed the last task on Sun Roof overhaul. The final task was to get the interior sunroof motor cover re-installed. I had accidentally muscled the cover back in place thinking that if I pressed really hard it would some how understand to stay in place. I snapped off one of the forward hook clips while also wondering what purpose a rear center mounted clip had that was not connected to anything.

I made a replacement clip from a piece of aluminum angle iron I picked up at Lowes and put 2 screws in place for mounting. I then installed a short bungi cord to hold the rear edge of the cover on the center rear clip. All is snug now. Another job to check off the list.

Installed HID lights on my 89 car. Also replaced the vacuum valve to the floor recirculating flap. Replaced the brake master cylinder reservoir gaskets and brake pads. Cleaned the floor mats. (The carpet & mats are white so that's a routine effort)

Made a switchable jumper to run the fuel pump using a gutted, old #53 relay and some lamp cord following a suggestion I read some time ago (https://rennlist.com/forums/9441872-post23.html - thanks Tony)

Drove it 850 miles.
Indiana to Toronto on Thursday (via Port Huron/Sarnia border crossing.)
Back to Indiana Friday night in the rain.
Great road car!

And to think it had been discarded, down-for-the-count, just a few years earlier!

You were taking pictures in your neighborhood and one of your neighbors called the cops? I am at a loss to understand why. What did the cops say, just shake their head at the thought of the tool that called them on you.

Now, if it wasn't your neighborhood, I can see a SoCal neighbor calling. Here, they would probably come out and say hi and tell you how cool your car is.
